Scientific workshop on ensuring security and order to serve socio-economic development in the Northern Midlands and Mountains

The workshop was organized online by the Ministry of Public Security from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police bridge connecting with 13 Police bridges from localities in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

Comrades: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province co-chaired the workshop.

Also attending the online conference was Colonel Pham Kim Dinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department.

Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Comrade Pham Kim Dinh, Director of the Provincial Police Department attended the workshop at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police Department.

At the workshop, delegates, scientists and experts presented papers focusing on three topics: "Viewpoints and orientations for socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security to serve socio-economic development in the Northern Midlands and Mountains"; "Local Party Committees and authorities lead and direct the work of ensuring security and order to serve socio-economic development in the Northern Midlands and Mountains and the participation of agencies and branches" and the topic "The People's Public Security thoroughly implements Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW, dated February 10, 2022 of the 13th Politburo, ensuring security and order to serve socio-economic development in the Northern Midlands and Mountains".

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To emphasized that the presentations, comments and proposals of delegates, experts and scientists at the workshop contributed to clarifying issues and improving the quality and effectiveness of leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels of the People's Public Security in ensuring security and order to serve socio-economic development in the midland and mountainous regions of the North in the spirit of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW dated February 10, 2022 of the 13th Politburo.

He suggested that relevant units should promptly supplement and complete the opinions presented at the workshop to complete the workshop proceedings; have in-depth research assessments drawn from practical experience in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level, proactively propose and report to the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to serve the leadership and direct the implementation of key, immediate and long-term tasks in ensuring security and order in the region, contributing to building a solid people's security posture, promoting socio-economic development, and constantly improving the material life of the people.
