In the early days of spring, tourist areas, relics, scenic spots and spiritual festivals in the province have many exciting activities, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit, sightsee and worship. To ensure that people and tourists from all over the country are excited and feel secure when traveling during the New Year, the Provincial Police have increased their forces, deployed plans, and are ready to ensure security and order (ANTT), traffic safety (ATGT) at the festivals.

Spring festival activities are held enthusiastically in both the countryside and the city. However, this is also an opportunity for bad guys to take advantage of committing crimes, from theft, fraud to social evils such as illegal drug use, gambling, superstitious activities, and in some cases, young people participating in festivals fight, disturb public order, and even commit serious crimes. To ensure absolute safety for people and tourists coming to participate in the festivals at the beginning of the year, the Provincial Police have proactively deployed plans to arrange forces, strengthen propaganda work, and mobilize people to voluntarily and strictly comply with the provisions of the law when participating in festival activities. At the same time, proactively prevent, fight and suppress crimes, and eliminate superstitious practices.
Local police have proactively advised Party committees and authorities to strengthen State management of festival activities to ensure compliance with regulations. On the other hand, in coordination with relevant sectors and functional forces, they regularly inspect and rectify entertainment activities, business and trading locations, etc. In addition, the police force has coordinated with security forces and relic management boards to step up propaganda and warnings about criminal methods and tricks so that tourists can be vigilant, proactively prevent and protect their property, and not let bad guys take advantage of their activities.
On key traffic routes, especially those leading to the festival area, the number of people and vehicles participating in traffic has increased dramatically. Traffic safety violations have also occurred frequently. Therefore, the traffic police have increased mobile patrols to propagate and warn, and set up checkpoints to strictly handle violations of traffic safety. At the same time, they have coordinated with the management boards of temples and pagodas to arrange and park vehicles in the right places to avoid traffic jams.
To ensure security and order for the spring festival activities, the Nhu Thanh District Police have developed a specific plan for festival protection. Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quynh, Deputy Head of the Nhu Thanh District Police, said: "To ensure security and order for the festivals, right before the Lunar New Year, the Nhu Thanh District Police have coordinated with the Department of Culture and Information; the District Center for Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism, communes and towns to organize festival activities in accordance with regulations, and at the same time eliminate and strictly handle violations such as: spirit possession, card drawing, disguised gambling..., contributing to preserving civility in public places, ensuring that festival activities take place joyfully and healthily".
In addition, the District Police have a plan to mobilize the maximum number of personnel to suppress criminal offenses, regulate traffic to avoid congestion; promptly detect and handle extreme behavior of young people, and prevent the incident from becoming complicated. The Nhu Thanh District Police have also paid special attention to improving the effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting at historical sites, scenic spots, and spiritual cultural sites in the area. In particular, the police force has proactively coordinated with the management boards of relics and religious establishments to develop internal rules and regulations to ensure fire prevention and fighting safety and to propagate and mobilize people and tourists to strictly comply with regulations on fire prevention and fighting. At the same time, urge, remind, and support establishments to inspect, repair, and supplement fire prevention and fighting equipment, strictly implement safety regulations in the use of electricity, incense burning, and votive paper burning.
With high efforts and concentration on ensuring security and order, Thanh Hoa police force has been silently keeping the 2025 Spring festival season in the province safe, contributing to building and promoting the image of Thanh Hoa province as friendly and safe in the hearts of tourists.
