Tri Ton assesses progress in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses

According to the plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee, in 2025, Tri Ton district will have 1,336 households in need of housing, with 1,293 newly built houses and 43 repaired houses. Of which, people with revolutionary contributions (group 1) will have 39 houses; 591 poor and near-poor households under national target programs (group 2) will have new housing needs; and 706 poor and near-poor households outside the target program (group 3).

As of April 2, 2025, communes and towns have started construction of 1,187 houses, including 1,011 new houses and 29 repaired houses; 482 houses have been completed, including 462 new houses and 20 repaired houses. Luong Phi, Luong An Tra and Ta Danh communes have started construction of 100% of the houses. The whole district has disbursed 14.7 billion VND. Of which, the central source is 4.3 billion VND, the local source is 544 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front mobilized nearly 5.5 billion VND and the family contributed 4.3 billion VND.

Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Ton district Nguyen Van Be Tam spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Tri Ton District Party Secretary Lam Thanh Si requested communes and towns to continue to propagate and mobilize people to start construction of the remaining houses soon. In addition, assign each party member, Executive Committee, Standing Committee to be in charge of each specific address, weekly report to the District Steering Committee on progress by image files; coordinate with relevant departments to promptly resolve land plot exchange cases. At the same time, commit to have 100% of houses started by April 15; complete 1,336 houses by June 15, reaching 100% of the plan.
