The 16th Conference of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2019-2024

Today, April 2, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the 16th conference, term XII, 2019-2024, to seek opinions on the contents of preparing for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term XIII, 2024-2029. Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

The 13th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term is scheduled to be held from August 7-9, 2024. The number of official delegates attending the congress is expected to be 279, an increase of 10% compared to the previous term.

Of which, there are 102 full-time delegates from the Fatherland Front at all levels, accounting for 36.5%; 31 delegates from the head of the front work committee in residential areas, accounting for 11%; 30 religious delegates, accounting for 10.8%; 40 delegates from ethnic minorities, accounting for 14%; 46 delegates who are outstanding individuals in various fields, accounting for 16%; 105 delegates from non-party groups, accounting for 38%...

The personnel structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024-2029 term is expected to have 75 members, of which 7 are ethnic minorities, accounting for 9.3%; 8 are religious, accounting for 10.7%; 52 are party members, accounting for 69.3%.

The draft political report of the congress has now completed the first revision. Regarding the organization of the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels, currently communes, wards and towns in the province are organizing congresses of the Fatherland Front at the grassroots level, of which Dong Ha City has completed the congress of the Fatherland Front at the grassroots level and is preparing to organize a model congress of the Fatherland Front at the district level.

The conference highly agreed on the contents of the draft political report, draft personnel plan report and plan for allocating delegates to the 13th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

At the same time, focus on discussing and giving more in-depth insights into promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in propaganda and mobilizing people to effectively implement national target programs; the role of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations; key programs and projects, breakthroughs in implementing tasks in the new term; pay attention to assessing the people's situation, lessons learned from the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels...

The conference also agreed to complete the personnel of the 12th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Chairman of the Huong Hoa District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, replacing Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, former Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society who retired according to the regime.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee received the opinions of delegates attending the conference to complete the personnel plan, the plan to allocate delegates to the congress and the political report to submit to the congress to widely collect opinions from the people.
