According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, the world's largest airline Emirates has decided to open a flight route to Da Nang City, operating from June 2 with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, including 2 classes (35 business seats and 368 economy seats).
In addition to 4 flights/week to Da Nang (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), Emirates also operates 3 flights/week to Siem Reap (Cambodia), all via transit in Bangkok (Thailand).
Flight EK370 will depart from Dubai at 9:00 local time, arrive in Bangkok at 18:25, depart from Bangkok at 20:10 and land in Da Nang at 21:50. In the opposite direction, flight EK371 will depart from Da Nang at 23:30 to arrive in Bangkok at 1:10, then depart at 3:40 to land in Dubai at 6:50 (the above times are considered local times).

Da Nang is the third city in Vietnam that Emirates operates flights to (after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City).

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, said that Da Nang City is currently attracting 16 direct international flights with 50 - 60 flights/day. Along with Emirates, Da Nang has also prepared conditions to open many new airlines from Dubai, Australia, new cities in India and China... to attract visitors from famous destinations around the world to connect directly to Da Nang.
