Third Quarter Mass Mobilization Work Conference

On the afternoon of October 3, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference to review the third quarter's Mass Mobilization work and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter of 2023.

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of agencies, units, departments, branches, unions, socio-political organizations of the province ; Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh City Party Committee; representatives of the skillful Mass Mobilization model "Young people in production and business".

Discussing at the conference, delegates unanimously assessed: In the third quarter of 2023, the people's situation in the province was stable. The mass mobilization work of the political system in the province continued to be maintained, with many innovations and creativity, bringing practical results. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee directed Party committees and Party organizations at all levels to seriously review and summarize the implementation of the Party's directives and resolutions on mass mobilization work according to plan. At the same time, they directed Party committees and Party organizations at all levels to focus on removing difficulties and promoting socio-economic development.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province organized a launching ceremony to support the "Gratitude and Social Security" Fund of Ninh Binh province in 2023 and mobilized support for building solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); coordinated with the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to successfully organize a scientific workshop with the theme "Formatting Ninh Binh identity associated with building local brands".

The Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee focused on directing the work of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels in Ninh Binh province for the period 2023 - 2030; discussing and giving opinions on the Report on important viewpoints and orientations in the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. The mass mobilization work of the government and armed forces continues to receive attention. Delegates pointed out difficulties and limitations in mass mobilization work, and proposed solutions to effectively carry out the tasks in the coming time. Many delegates suggested continuing to pay attention to State management of religion; promoting the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization", implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level; raising awareness of all classes of people in fire prevention and fighting; continuing to pay attention to doing a good job of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against bad and toxic information on the Internet and social networks; paying attention to removing difficulties for businesses, ensuring the lives of workers; continuing to have many policies to support young people to start businesses and establish careers, etc.

At the same time, he pointed out a number of limitations and requirements that need to be overcome immediately in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Regarding the key tasks of mass mobilization work in the fourth quarter, in addition to the 8 specific tasks mentioned in the draft report, he requested that units, based on their functions and tasks, concretize them into programs and plans to effectively organize and implement them, continue to innovate mass mobilization work, focusing on implementing a number of key tasks: Proactively grasp the situation of the people and the grassroots, coordinate to advise on resolving arising complications right at the grassroots, avoid being passive, sudden and unexpected. Continue to direct the construction and replication of typical models of skillful mass mobilization in all fields.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that mass mobilization work must focus on new and difficult tasks. In the immediate future, we must focus on doing a good job of mass mobilization work, creating consensus and unity in the arrangement of administrative units; actively mobilizing people to participate in emulation movements for socio-economic development; continuing to mobilize people to actively participate in the 2023 provincial defense zone exercise. At the same time, we must continue to pay attention to training cadres to do mass mobilization work to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Pay attention to implementing and coordinating the implementation of the vote of confidence for leadership and management positions in the political system. Effectively organize activities to celebrate the Party's traditional day of mass mobilization work and the anniversary of the establishment of a number of socio-political organizations to ensure practicality and suitability to actual conditions and situations.

* Before that, the delegates visited the "Youthful Production and Business" model of Luxer Vietnam LLC in Ninh Khanh Ward, Ninh Binh City. The company was established in 2015 with the main business lines being the production of furniture, decorative mirrors, Led advertising, etc.

During the process of formation and development, the Company has always received attention and support from all levels, departments, and branches, especially the Youth Union; supported in approaching and introducing potential partners, accessing loans to support young people to start production and business according to Resolution 43 of the Provincial People's Council. The Company has applied technological lines to production, helping to minimize input costs, avoid waste and optimize product quality.

Currently, the Company creates jobs for about 160 regular workers (of which 95% are young people), with an average salary of 8-10 million VND/person/month. This is one of the typical models of "Smart Mass Mobilization" of the Youth Union. The success of the model has spread, aroused, and promoted the spirit of entrepreneurship and career establishment of young people in the whole province.
