(Fatherland) - From 2024, AEON Vietnam continues to affirm its commitment to developing local human resources, officially launching the "AEON Scholarship for Vocational School Students" Program in Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City to provide opportunities for sustainable career development for students at colleges and vocational schools.
Accordingly, developing local human resources is one of the strategic focuses of AEON Vietnam, based on three main pillars: economy, environment and society. In which, the social pillar aims at four goals: improving comprehensive health, promoting diversity - equity - inclusion, supporting disaster recovery and nurturing the younger generation. And the AEON scholarship for vocational school students is designed to connect vocational education and businesses, contributing to the development of local human resources and building a sustainable working environment.
The "AEON Scholarship for Vocational School Students" program affirms the connection between AEON Vietnam and the vocational education community, promoting sustainable cooperation through valuable scholarships and practical internship opportunities as well as long-term and stable career opportunities.
In 2024, the program will award 15 scholarships, each worth 12 million VND, to facilitate and motivate students to complete the Culinary Arts Certificate within 2 years of study. This is not only financial support, but also a strong stepping stone, opening a solid door for students' career journey in this promising field.

The "AEON Scholarship for Vocational School Students" program is for college and vocational school students with good achievements and difficult circumstances, creating conditions for them to firmly step on the journey of learning and career development, thereby contributing positively to society. In addition to the scholarship, students are also given the opportunity to access seasonal or official employee positions at AEON Vietnam.
From 2025, the program will expand internship opportunities at centers, supermarkets, and stores in the AEON Vietnam system nationwide, helping students accumulate practical experience, practice skills, and pursue their passion in the retail industry.
The "AEON Scholarship for Vocational School Students" program is organized in three regions, aiming to create wide access for students across the country. The scholarship awarding ceremony will take place on December 24, 2024 at Hue College of Tourism, December 26, 2024 at College of Technology II (Ho Chi Minh City), and December 27, 2024 at Hanoi College of Technology.
The "AEON Scholarship for Vocational School Students" program not only provides financial support to students but also contributes to building a Diverse - Equal - Inclusive working environment, part of AEON Vietnam's sustainable development policy. Accordingly, aiming to prioritize those with limited access to resources, the program clearly demonstrates the spirit of inclusiveness by bringing vocational students with practical skills into the workforce, enhancing diversity in expertise and perspectives, while affirming the commitment to join hands in training and developing local human resources.
