FPT University supports 1,000 new students in 2025 under the policy of 'Study first - pay later'

Tuition fees are one of the factors that strongly influence the decision of students and their families to choose a school. Many students, despite their good academic ability, still have to put their university dream on hold due to financial circumstances.

According to statistics from the Ministry ofEducation and Training, in 2024, there were more than 120,000 candidates who passed the entrance exam but did not enroll, accounting for 18.13% of the total number of candidates who passed the entrance exam. A survey by VnExpress (2024) showed that 73% of opinions said that “tuition fees beyond their ability to pay” was the main reason why students could not continue their studies.

FPT University's "Study first - Pay later" policy aims to support students to study with peace of mind without worrying about finances.

Understanding this reality, FPT University implements the policy of "Study first - Pay later" as a sustainable financial solution, helping students to wholeheartedly pursue knowledge without financial worries.

The 2025 “Learn Now – Pay Later” policy applies to candidates:

● Graduated from high school in 2025, eligible for admission to FPT University in 2025;

● Have difficult family circumstances and wish to participate in the program;

● Achieved Top 40 High School Ranking in 2025 (certified at https://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn);

● Have a valid application to participate in the program and be approved by the Review Board.

Students can register to pay in installments of 30%, 50% or 70% of the entire course tuition fee. The interest rate for post-payment is equal to the interest rate of the Social Policy Bank for student loans.

FPT University leaders emphasized: “The policy of ‘Study first – Pay later’ not only helps to remove financial barriers for young people but is also a way for FPT University to invest in the future of the country. When learning opportunities are expanded, students with capacity and ambition will be able to develop comprehensively in a modern environment – ​​thereby confidently stepping into the future, becoming global citizens, making positive contributions to society.”

Previously, FPT University had implemented many policies to support students with difficult circumstances in localities such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Kon Tum, Binh Thuan ... and now continues to expand its scale, with the goal of not letting any student miss out on the opportunity to study just because of lack of financial conditions.

In addition to flexible financial policies, FPT University also awards 2,800 scholarships to talented candidates, exempting tuition fees from 1 year to the entire course. In particular, the school offers 100 Global Expert scholarships (100% tuition exemption and living allowance of 30 million VND/year). After graduation, students receiving this scholarship are selected to work in 1 of 5 countries: USA, Japan, Korea, Germany and Singapore.

The deadline for registering for the Learn Now – Pay Later program and scholarship applications (except for applications based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University or Ho Chi Minh City National University and the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam) is before May 15, 2025. The school will announce the results on May 25, 2025. For candidates registering for scholarships based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University or the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, register before July 1, 2025 and July 31, 2025, respectively.
