Hoang Hoa has 470 relics, of which 93 historical and cultural relics have been ranked, including 16 national relics and 77 provincial relics. Many relics are not only famous in the province, but also reach the whole country such as Mon Dinh board, Trang Quynh temple (Hoang Loc commune), To Hien Thanh temple (Hoang Tien commune), Ma Nhon islet (Hoang Dao commune), Ba Cay islet (Hoang Thang commune)...
Hon Bo - Lach Truong spiritual cultural tourism park attracts many tourists from inside and outside the province.
Proud of the glorious tradition of the homeland, in recent years, the Party Committee and the government of Hoang Hoa district have had many policies to promote the management, exploitation, use and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued Directive No. 10-CT/HU dated September 9, 2021 on strengthening leadership and direction in the management, use, restoration, and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics ranked in the district; issued Decision No. 586-QD/HU dated March 6, 2023 on the promulgation of the Project "Preserving and promoting the value of ranked relics and intangible cultural values in Hoang Hoa district in the period of 2023-2025" to connect tourism with visiting historical, cultural and revolutionary relics.
Up to now, the district has established 4 district-level management boards, 36 commune-level management boards, and most of the remaining relics have established management teams. Thanks to that, the management and operation work at the relic sites has been carried out seriously, orderly and effectively. Every year, the district has mobilized many resources to restore and embellish the relics. From January 2021 to now, nearly 100 billion VND has been mobilized. Many relics after being restored and renovated have become new and attractive tourist destinations, connecting tours and tourist routes in the district and the province, such as Trang Quynh church, Mon Dinh board, Hoi Long pagoda, But pagoda... attracting over 30,000 tourists and tens of thousands of local people. Many relics have become tourism products with local brands.
Along with paying attention to investing in the restoration and embellishment of historical relics and revolutionary relics, the district also pays attention to promoting propaganda and education on the history of the local Party Committee; directing and guiding propaganda content on Party history and homeland traditions in conjunction with welcoming important events of the homeland and the country. District-level departments, offices, branches and Party committees and grassroots organizations have strengthened coordination in directing the implementation of propaganda work in many forms such as oral propaganda; propaganda through books, newspapers, newsletters, slogans, banners; visual propaganda via the internet, audio and visual media; through local history education such as organizing the Pen and Ink Festival in early spring at Mon Dinh board, Hoang Loc commune, to propagate, promote and honor the tradition of studiousness of the homeland. Organize training and refresher courses, field trips, and field research at revolutionary sites in the area... contributing to educating the homeland's traditions and promoting the district's socio-economic development.
In order to further promote the value of relics in the area, in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Hoa will continue to promote propaganda and education on historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions... At the same time, focus on organizing activities and programs on returning to the source at historical relic sites, creating a widespread and regular movement for organizations, agencies, units, localities and people...
