Completing the content of the new salary regime, adjusting pensions

The Government has just issued Resolution No. 44/NQ-CP on the regular Government meeting in March 2024 and the Government's online conference with localities.

In which, the Government assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with agencies and localities:

Preside over and closely coordinate with the Ministries of Finance, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, National Defense, Public Security and relevant ministries and agencies to urgently and thoroughly complete the Submission and Report to the Politburo on the specific contents of the new wage regime, pension adjustments, social insurance benefits, preferential subsidies for people with meritorious services and social assistance, ensuring quality and progress. Proactively develop regulations and specific tasks to implement the new wage policy.

Urge localities to complete documents and organize timely appraisal, according to regulations, for projects to implement administrative unit arrangement of localities.

Synthesize the results of building and approving job positions of ministries, agencies and localities, focusing on clarifying difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings and proposing solutions to remove them, and report to the Prime Minister before April 25, 2024.

Preside over and coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and relevant ministries, agencies and localities to well prepare the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide by 2025.

The Government agrees with the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to stop developing the following projects: Project on the model of organizing urban government directly under the provincial level; Project on evaluating the organization and operation of commune-level government in the period of 2016 - 2021, with a development orientation to 2030; Project on connecting commune-level cadres and civil servants with district and provincial levels.
