Along National Highway 4C, National Highway 34, DT176… the cotton trees have bloomed brilliantly, beautifying the landscape of Ha Giang, making tourists excited and people feel at peace.

Kapok flowers in Ha Giang grow naturally. They are scattered along the road, hanging precariously on cliffs or lined up neatly by the river.

This flower is so strange, not a green leaf to be seen. On the rough branches, the red cotton flowers bloom like flames on a giant candlestick.

In the cool weather of Ha Giang in late spring, there is nothing more poetic than "riding" on a motorbike, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying every cool breeze.

Known as one of the most beautiful roads in Ha Giang, the DT176 road from Du Gia to Mau Due is also the place with the most cotton flowers. From the high pass, visitors can freely gaze out and enjoy the peaceful scenery of the valley below with rice fields and villages.

If you come to Ha Giang with a heavy heart, each route will help you ease your worries.

Kapok flowers scattered along the road add to the majestic mountain and forest scenery.

Returning to Ha Giang four years after her first visit to this beautiful land, Ms. Thanh Thao still retains her feelings for each stone and road.

"After graduating, I was caught up in a whirlwind of work and relationships, sometimes my heart was in turmoil.

But this trip to Ha Giang has given me more positive energy. To me, Ha Giang is still as beautiful and majestic as the first time I came. I really like the color of the cotton flowers along the roads in Du Gia (Yen Minh district), Vi Xuyen, this flower brings a peaceful, familiar feeling like the place where I was born," Ms. Thao shared.

The peaceful cotton flowers by the river at the foot of the pass are like a miracle medicine to heal wounded souls.

Choosing Ha Giang as the place to take his graduation photos, final year photography student Pham Viet Cuong could not help but be impressed by the brilliant flower season this March.

"In the lowlands, I only see one or two cotton trees at the village entrance, but in Ha Giang it's different. I walked along the Gam River and then through Bac Me, Meo Vac, Dong Van. Wherever I went, I saw cotton trees, some in clusters, some in full bloom.

The row of cotton flowers along the Nho Que River is the place that impressed me the most, because the red and orange colors of the flowers stand out against the emerald green water of Nho Que, creating an extremely peaceful and poetic scene," Cuong confided.
