Hoa Binh organizes a fishing ceremony and releases flower lanterns to pray for national peace and prosperity.

(CLO) On the evening of November 15, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province organized a fishing ceremony and released flower lanterns on the Da River. This is one of the first activities in the series of events "Hoa Binh Province Culture - Tourism Week 2024" taking place from November 15 - 23, 2024 in Hoa Binh city.

Within the framework of "Hoa Binh Province Culture - Tourism Week 2024", there are main activities such as: Fishing Worship Ceremony, releasing flower lanterns on the Da River; opening of the 2024 art photo exhibition with the theme "Beauty of Culture - Tourism of Hoa Binh Province"; ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking as a special national monument of Trai hamlet, Vanh village stone roof and opening of Hoa Binh Province Culture - Tourism Week 2024; organizing tours to visit Hoa Binh Lake tourist area; tour guide contest; opening of the Hoa Binh Province Ethnic Costume Performance Festival; Can wine festival.

Along with that is the Agricultural Forum with the theme: "Agricultural promotion associated with agricultural tourism, green growth and sustainable development"; opening of the second Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival in Hoa Binh province in 2024; sport fishing competition on the Da River associated with promoting culture and introducing the tourist landscape of Hoa Binh lake; organizing fish release to regenerate aquatic resources on Hoa Binh hydroelectric lake...

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee Dinh Cong Su emphasized that the fishing ceremony and releasing flower lanterns on the Da River were organized to affirm and continue the preservation and promotion of unique and diverse cultural features in the cultural space of the Vietnamese people.

Through the festival, we will honor spiritual and cultural values, create beauty in the spiritual and cultural life of the Vietnamese people with the wish to pray for peace and prosperity for the country, favorable weather, peace for the country, prosperity and happiness for the people. Each flower lantern lit is also an opportunity for everyone to pray for a good thought, a peaceful thought, praying for the country to be peaceful and prosperous, and for the people to be prosperous and happy.

At the same time, through the festival, it will promote and introduce impressive images of the potential, strengths, landscapes and traditional cultural identity of Hoa Binh province in general, and the Da River reservoir tourist area in particular, contributing to stimulating tourism development and attracting and expanding the domestic and international tourist market to Hoa Binh province.

Immediately afterwards, the fishing ceremony and the lantern releasing ceremony took place on the right bank of the Da River (Hoa Binh City). The ceremony of releasing thousands of lit and sparkling lanterns on the Da River attracted thousands of local people and tourists to participate enthusiastically.
