Truck carrying 750kg of foul-smelling animal viscera discovered in Hoa Binh

Market Management Team No. 2, Hoa Binh Province Market Management Department has strengthened coordination with local authorities to inspect and handle, and at the same time, step up propaganda for organizations and individuals not to transport or trade food that does not ensure food safety and hygiene and poses a risk to health when used.

On December 6, Market Management Team No. 2 coordinated with Tan Lac Traffic Police Station, Team 3 - Economic Police Department of Hoa Binh Provincial Police, and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine to inspect car with license plate 29F-050.11 showing signs of transporting food that did not meet food safety standards.

Destroy goods that do not ensure food safety.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle contained 7 foam boxes containing more than 750kg of animal organs that were leaking water, changing color, and emitting a foul odor, not ensuring veterinary hygiene and food safety.

Market Management Team No. 2 coordinated, drew up a record of violations, and issued a decision to impose an administrative penalty on the act of transporting animal products that do not meet veterinary hygiene and food safety requirements for business.

In addition to the fine of 10 million VND, the authorities requested the owner to destroy all of the above goods according to regulations.
