Hoa Binh fined 332 cases of traffic violations

According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Hoa Binh province, from September 23 to September 28, 2024, the surveillance camera system across the province recorded a total of 332 violations. The violations were mainly speeding and running red lights, posing a high potential risk to traffic safety.

Penalties for speeding.

Exceeding the speed limit from 5km/h to under 10km/h: Violators will be fined from 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND.

Exceeding the speed limit from 10km/h to 20km/h: The fine increases from 4,000,000 to 6,000,000 VND and the violator's driving license is revoked for 1 to 3 months.

Exceeding the speed limit from 20km/h to 35km/h: Violators will be fined from 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 VND and have their driving license revoked for 2 to 4 months.

Exceeding the speed limit by more than 35km/h: Fine up to 10,000,000 to 12,000,000 VND, along with driver's license revocation from 2 to 4 months.

When receiving a notice of a fine, people need to prepare all necessary documents to pay the fine. For cars, the documents include:

Vehicle registration

Certificate of technical safety and environmental protection inspection.

The offender's driving license.

Citizen identification card of the violator (with photocopies of each type of document).
