Image of joint military parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South

At four different locations across the country, thousands of soldiers practiced for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South.

Previously, the Minister of National Defense issued Directive No. 91 on organizing military and militia forces to participate in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

To organize and effectively carry out the task of holding a parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army requested agencies and units to continue to strictly implement Directive No. 91; ensuring unity, synchronization, and achieving high results.

The Chief of the General Staff requested the Military Training Department - School to develop a plan for joint training, preliminary review, general rehearsal of the parade, and organize coordination with agencies and units to implement. Direct units to organize training according to the program, ensuring strictness and consistency; taking basic training as the main thing, as the basis for joint training in the block to achieve the set goals and requirements.

Closely coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City in joint training of ceremonial and mass parade blocks. Organize joint training of armed forces well in April 2025, including 2-3 times at the venue of the celebration.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the Police and Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in traffic adjustment, lane division, avoiding congestion and ensuring absolute safety in force mobilization.
