March 3 was the second day that the Hanoi Traffic Police Department processed procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses for people after receiving this work from the Hanoi Department of Transport.

Unlike the first day (only a few dozen people came), on March 3, the number of people needing to issue or exchange driving licenses increased dramatically. At both transaction locations at 2 Phung Hung (Ha Dong) and 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan (Gia Lam), hundreds of people came, standing and sitting full of waiting rooms to complete procedures.

At the driver's license exchange point at 2 Ha Dong, at 3:30 p.m., people had taken the issued number 0276, while the case being resolved was only number 0185, so there were 90 people who had taken numbers and were waiting in line.

In order to be able to process the documents in time for 90 people waiting while the afternoon working time was only about 1.5 hours, on the afternoon of March 3, the traffic police transaction point at 2 Phung Hung had to send officers to the outer circle to check documents, instruct people to prepare, and fill in information in advance.

In the yard and entrance area of ​​the exchange point, traffic police officers are also assigned here to guide and direct people to the door that needs to be transacted as soon as they arrive.

Along with that, the Traffic Police also instructed people to try to issue and change driving licenses online on the National Public Service Portal to reduce travel and waiting.

At the driver's license exchange point in Ha Dong, Hanoi Traffic Police have arranged 4 doors to receive documents but there are always many people standing around doing procedures.

For cases/files that cannot be processed on a daily basis, the Traffic Police Department that processes driver's license issuance and renewal applications is required by the Hanoi Traffic Police Department to work on Saturdays to process them on schedule.

Informing Tien Phong reporter about the number of records that were processed for people during the day, at the end of the afternoon of March 3, a representative of the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination and Issuance Team (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) said that on March 3, the two points for issuing and renewing driving licenses received and processed 1,000 sets of records.

Of these, 400 files were processed directly at two locations: 2 Phung Hung (Ha Dong) and 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan (Gia Lam); more than 600 files were processed online on the National Public Service Portal.
