Vietnam Blockchain Association has just held a ceremony to honor many units applying blockchain technology after 1 year of establishment.
Attending the 1-year anniversary of the Association, Professor - Doctor of Science Hoang Van Huay, former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association shared: "After 1 year of establishment, the Vietnam Blockchain Association has received a lot of support and determination to promote and demonstrate the potential when applying blockchain technology to economic sectors. At the 1-year anniversary program, the Vietnam Blockchain Association will announce the actions on the journey of inheriting and promoting the achievements of the past year. In particular, the program on the portal to record active projects, the development orientation program and investment connection will be announced".

In addition, within the framework of the celebration, the Vietnam Blockchain Association also honored individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to the blockchain application community over the past year.
Among them, the honor category for Pioneers in applying blockchain in digital transformation was awarded to units in 3 fields: Banking and Finance (Vietcombank, Techcom Securities, VPBank), Digital Data (MK Group) and Healthcare (Genetica), looking at the achievements and tireless efforts that these units have brought in applying and promoting blockchain over the past years.
In the honor category for Media Agencies Promoting the Development of Blockchain Technology in Vietnam, the Association honored the following press agencies: Thanh Nien, VNExpress, Dau Tu, Vietnamnet, VietnamNews, An Ninh TV, VTV Money . These are pioneering agencies in bringing the latest news about the blockchain industry, popularizing knowledge to a wide range of readers so that they can better understand this technology.

Mr. Tran Van Tung - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology said: "The establishment of the Vietnam Blockchain Association during this period is also very timely when directly participating in the process of improving the technology application capacity of Vietnamese enterprises in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution; as well as the national digital transformation process to 2025 - oriented to 2030. Although it has only been established for 1 year, the Vietnam Blockchain Association has achieved remarkable achievements and popularized the correct definition of blockchain when applied to economic sectors".
