The humanitarian blood donation program "One drop of blood, a million hearts" organized for the third time by Vedan Vietnam attracted 228 employees of the company to register and received 178 donated blood units. This is proof that employees at Vedan Vietnam are increasingly interested in and actively participating in social volunteer activities in general and humanitarian blood donation in particular.
In this year’s program, in addition to employees who have actively donated blood many times, there were also the participation of unit managers, foreign officers and employees from workshops, departments, etc. who registered to participate. Although busy with work, everyone took the time and prepared their health to participate in the humanitarian blood donation.
Mr. Ko Chung Chih (Deputy General Director of Vedan Vietnam) shared: "The humanitarian blood donation program "One drop of blood, a million hearts" is one of the actions "Joining hands for community health" that Vedan Vietnam has been carrying out for many years. This is not only a meaningful and humane activity but also carries love and sharing to patients who need blood. We wish to spread profound values through actions, joining hands with everyone to create more good deeds for society. On this occasion, I would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, volunteers from the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province and the Red Cross Society of Long Thanh district for joining us in organizing this program. Thank you to all of you who participated in blood donation for joining the company in spreading love and care to everyone...".
The humanitarian blood donation program has clearly demonstrated the motto "Cultivating love, dedicating oneself" that Vedan Vietnam always aims for. Maintaining meaningful activities that have spread and brought positive messages that everyone joins in responding to, helping people's lives become better and better... is always the wish of all employees of Vedan Vietnam.
