Smart broadcasting system with high efficiency

The use of smart broadcasting systems with modern features has proven effective, meeting the information needs of the people. From now on, radio news broadcasts no longer have the problem of signal interference, mixed signals, poor sound quality or coastal areas that cannot receive signals like the previous FM wave technology. In particular, AI Text-to-speech artificial intelligence integrated into the software can automatically recognize and read text into audio messages to broadcast on the speaker system without the need for a broadcaster to record.

Grassroots radio has long been considered an important information channel, with the power to convey information to the people on the widest coverage area, providing information directly and quickly. At the same time, it is also a bridge reflecting all opinions, thoughts and aspirations of the people. The activities of grassroots radio stations always closely follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; promptly propagating the tasks of local socio-economic development.

Over the years, the grassroots radio system in Hai Lang district has played a good role, promptly conveying the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's, the province's and the district's laws to the people. Especially in emergency situations, it is difficult for any form of media to replace the role of grassroots radio, especially in natural disasters.

Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports (CHTT - DTTT) of Hai Lang district, Nguyen Hung Manh, said: “The important point is that smart radio uses unified software from the district to the commune level. This application has helped the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of the district to strictly control information, programs and broadcasting schedules with high security. In addition, smart radio is completely controlled on computers and mobile devices, helping to store and manage broadcast content well. Thanks to that, broadcasting news becomes flexible, it is possible to choose to broadcast news to each speaker cluster or each area. In case of emergency, the district radio station can completely choose to directly broadcast news to each speaker cluster of the residential area, not depending on staff at the commune level as before."

One of the solutions that has been implemented effectively to promptly convey information in images to people inside and outside the district, including those who follow abroad, is to exploit the utility of social networks such as Facebook and fanpages for propaganda. The Hai Lang District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center has set up a fanpage for the station.

For important current events that attract public attention, the center sends reporters to produce video clips or re-exploit them from other press agencies and post them on the fanpage. The information is constantly updated and shared, attracting many people to pay attention, comment, and share. Thanks to this fanpage, many people living, working, and studying far from home can easily grasp information about their hometown.

Many radio stations in communes, towns, and agencies and units in the district also actively post and share news and articles on the district's electronic information page and their Facebook pages, so the propaganda work is increasingly more effective and widespread.

According to Vice Chairman of Hai Lang District People's Committee Cap Xuan Ta, in recent times, Hai Lang District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center has been very creative in producing propaganda programs. Organizing radio and coordinating live television broadcasts of many important local political and cultural events to ensure quality and receive high response from the people. At the conference to commend and honor typical advanced models nationwide in grassroots information activities in 2024 held in Hanoi, Hai Lang District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center was one of 48 collectives nationwide honored by the Ministry of Information and Communications for their outstanding achievements in grassroots information activities.
