With the motto of focusing on the grassroots, taking residential areas as the center of activities, in recent times, the Fatherland Front of Vu Ban district has always innovated the work of mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund and the social security program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to taking care of people's lives.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the district has always proactively coordinated with the government and member organizations to actively advise on the implementation of the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" launched by the Prime Minister in conjunction with the campaign "The whole people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; mobilize households to register for emulation to unite and help each other reduce poverty, proactively overcome difficulties and develop the economy to escape poverty sustainably. The Fatherland Front proposed to the government at all levels to create conditions for poor households to access and enjoy the State's poverty reduction support policies; replicate effective production and economic development models. All localities have established steering committees; assigned and assigned specific responsibilities to each organization and individual in charge of the campaign contents.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front closely coordinates with member organizations to promote propaganda work, take many forms of care for poor union members and members; organize credit activities for poor members to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank to develop production; support members to develop occupations and services such as vocational training, career guidance, market access, job creation... Typically, the District Farmers' Association is managing a total source of the Farmers' Support Fund at all levels of 4,598 billion VND for 39 projects with 103 borrowers; credit and entrustment from the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Vu Ban district branch 428,978 billion VND for 2,815 borrowers; from the Social Policy Bank 118,315 billion VND for 2,766 borrowers. The Women's Association at all levels has awarded 382 Hoang Ngan scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties, worth nearly 200 million VND; Donating the “Step to School” fund to 32 students in especially difficult circumstances; helping, visiting, and giving gifts to elderly, single, sick women, and orphans in difficult circumstances on holidays, New Year, and floods with a total amount of 982 million VND; donating to buy health insurance cards for 29 poor members in especially difficult circumstances; connecting and mobilizing organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to sponsor 428 orphans, with a total support amount of over 2.1 billion VND... Union members, association members, and people from all walks of life have promoted the spirit of “mutual love” to help each other with capital, seeds, and production experience; transferring and absorbing scientific and technical advances; organizing intergenerational clubs to help each other reduce poverty. The examples of helping the poor with many good and creative ways are increasingly permeating and spreading to everyone, every household, contributing to the effective implementation of sustainable poverty reduction.

In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels focuses on mobilizing resources to support the poor and carry out social security work. The Front's staff in the district has proactively approached and mobilized organizations and individuals with goodwill to contribute to social security activities in the locality. Every year, the district Fatherland Front organizes the launch of the "For the Poor" Peak Month; strengthens the Mobilization Committee for the "For the Poor" Fund. The district Fatherland Front organizes a review of poor households and households with especially difficult circumstances in the area to include in the plan to mobilize support and assistance; flexibly and creatively applies forms of mobilization, calling on businesses, religious organizations, and philanthropists to support the construction of Great Unity houses and support social security programs. Determining that if people want to join hands, they must gain the trust of the community, the Fatherland Front at all levels has become a bridge, transferring the hearts of donors to beneficiaries, ensuring the right people, the right objects, the right circumstances and in a timely manner. Receiving direct support by address has had practical significance. Sponsors attended and directly presented gifts and presented Great Solidarity Houses, thereby creating trust from sponsors. At the same time, the District Fatherland Front also has timely forms of gratitude, rewards and encouragement, both to acknowledge and encourage, and to create consensus among organizations and individuals who contribute support. Thanks to that, over the past 5 years, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the district has mobilized over 3,397 billion VND (of which 2,508 billion VND at the district level). From this fund, it has supported the construction and repair of 76 Great Solidarity Houses. Every year, on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, the District Fatherland Front launches the program "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Sharing"; coordinates the presentation of 3,250 gifts, with a total value of over 3 billion VND. Coordinated the organization of green banh chung wrapping points, presented 2,500 banh chung and 10 tons of rice to the poor and those in difficult circumstances. In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels also presented 235 bicycle scholarships and 8 cash scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties. The Fatherland Front at all levels also closely coordinated with the Red Cross to mobilize support of 900 million VND; 3.5 tons of rice and necessities to promptly transport to the flooded Central region. Launched and called for support of 132.9 million VND to build Great Unity houses for the people of Dien Bien province on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory...

The innovation of the "For the Poor" Fund and the social security program of the Vu Ban District Fatherland Front in recent years has contributed to the effective implementation of the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", thereby caring for and improving the lives of the people. This is a content with profound political, social and humanistic significance, thereby fostering and arousing the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the nation and creating cohesion in the community, thereby joining hands to build the district increasingly rich and strong. Up to now, the poverty rate of the whole district has decreased to 0.87%. 100% of communes and towns have been recognized as advanced new rural communes, of which 3 communes have been recognized as model new rural areas, and Goi town has been recognized as a civilized urban area.

In the coming time, the Fatherland Front of Vu Ban district will continue to focus its activities on residential areas; diversify forms of gathering, and maximize all resources among the people. Strongly launch emulation movements and campaigns, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind". Coordinate with member organizations to build and replicate good and effective models in sustainable poverty reduction and new rural construction; encourage the poor and poor households to proactively rise out of poverty. Promote resource mobilization to care for the poor, contributing to the implementation of social security policies and improving people's lives.
