Provincial People's Council: Supervising thematic policy on tourism development in Ninh Son district

On May 21, the Provincial People's Council Supervision Delegation led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a thematic supervision session on "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in the period of 2021-2023" in Ninh Son district.

In the period of 2021-2023, the work of directing, operating, improving the effectiveness of state management, as well as propagating, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Party's viewpoints and policies, the State's laws and policies on tourism development in Ninh Son district has gradually been effective, achieving some positive results. Accordingly, the natural landscape, environment, political security, social order and safety have been maintained, creating a favorable environment for tourism development; the work of promoting, advertising, attracting tourism investment, conferences, seminars, and developing tourism products has been effective. However, besides the achieved results, Ninh Son's tourism still has some limitations such as: Not many tourism products with unique, attractive characteristics have been built to attract long-term visitors; tourism accommodation facilities have not been strongly invested in and developed, entertainment services have not been developed; Many tourist spots and areas organize tourism activities that lack connection, are not highly professional, and have not really become attractive brands...

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, spoke at the thematic supervision session "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in Ninh Son district, period 2021-2023".

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the direction and implementation of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of Ninh Son district in implementing legal policies on tourism development in the period of 2021-2023 to ensure compliance with regulations. He requested Ninh Son district to continue to deploy and effectively implement Resolution No. 13/2022/NQ-HDND dated July 22, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council stipulating a number of policies to support the development of Ninh Thuan tourism in the period of 2022-2025. In particular, proactively cooperate with units and organizations to promote tourism destinations in the district; diversify specific tourism products in the area, improve the competitiveness of products; strengthen tour connections to bring local tourists to sightseeing and tourism destinations in the area. Strengthen propaganda, disseminate widely, mobilize people to voluntarily and actively participate in preserving the environment, ensuring landscape, security, order, and environmental sanitation; build a movement of civilized behavior, having an open, friendly, and hospitable attitude towards tourists coming to visit and travel, contributing to fully exploiting the potential and advantages of local tourism. Promote activities to invite and create the most favorable conditions for attracting investment in tourism development; socio-economic development projects with tourism development according to planning, ensuring the environment, synchronous, modern, long-term, maximizing the potential and advantages of the locality. For difficulties and proposals of the district, the Supervisory Delegation will record and synthesize, promptly make recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee, and promptly resolve them.
