(Dan Tri) - The spirit of volunteering does not stop at material gifts but also includes sharing, understanding and encouraging people in the highlands to overcome difficulties.
400 people received free medical examination
On December 21, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in coordination with the Youth Union of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union organized the winter volunteer program "Warmth of Love - Loving Highlands".

The program was held in Dao Vien commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province. This is a bridge to bring sharing and practical support to people in remote areas and ethnic minorities.
With a total value of social security resources up to 410 million VND, the activity has created a deep impression of the spirit of "mutual love".
Before starting volunteer activities in Dao Vien commune, the working group organized a journey back to the source, visiting the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site and Uncle Ho Temple.
This is not only an opportunity for youth union members to review the heroic revolutionary tradition, but also an opportunity for the younger generation to understand more about the struggle of our ancestors to build and defend the country.

In Dao Vien commune, the working group coordinated with doctors from the Post Office Hospital to provide medical examinations, treatment and free medicine to 400 people, including children and teenagers.
With difficult medical conditions in remote areas, this activity not only helps take care of people's health but also encourages and provides practical support to help them overcome difficulties in life.
Warm gifts for the highlanders
In order to share with the difficult circumstances of Dao Vien commune, the working delegation presented 20 gifts worth 20 million VND to poor households in the commune.

With the spirit of always giving the best to children, within the framework of the program, the delegation awarded 20 scholarships to disadvantaged children who strive to excel in their studies, worth 20 million VND; 600 pairs of socks, 200 warm clothes and 200 school jackets worth 80 million VND; 2 youth projects "Kitchen for children" worth 100 million VND for Phao school and Dao Vien kindergarten.

Responding to the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers" and the spirit of digital transformation, the delegation presented 3 maps of Vietnam to Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union, Yen Son District Youth Union and Dao Vien Commune Youth Union.
In particular, the program also provides 3 free wifi hotspots, worth 21 million VND, helping local people and students have more convenient access to information, study and online communication. This is a new and practical step in bringing digital technology to the highlands.
The program "Warmth of Love - Loving Highlands" is not only a simple volunteer activity but also affirms the pioneering role of Vietnamese youth in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
