Television bridge celebrating the 70th anniversary of the North's regrouping: A journey to look back at the nation's historical milestones
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - The television bridge commemorating the 70th anniversary of the North (Hai Phong - Thanh Hoa - Ca Mau) will officially take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 16, 2024 and will be broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television. At the Hai Phong bridge, the program will take place at the City Theater Square.
After the Geneva Agreement, the 17th parallel became a temporary military demarcation line, and tens of thousands of cadres, soldiers, and people from the South gathered in the North. The gathering in the North marked a historic shift of forces contributing to the struggle for national reunification. The decision to bring cadres, soldiers, and children of Southern people to the North was not only a strategic decision but also a typical demonstration of the foresight and wise leadership of the Party Central Committee and President Ho Chi Minh during the turbulent period of Vietnamese history in creating the foundation for the construction of the North, consolidating forces for the struggle to liberate the South, and unify the country.
The 70th Anniversary of the Northern Rally is a program broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television. The TV bridge to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Northern Rally “Deep Love and Heavy Meaning” is a journey to look back at the historical milestones of the nation, where there are contributions and sacrifices that create independence, peace, prosperity and happiness. The Northern Rally has become a symbol of patriotism, of the spirit of national solidarity, the determination and unity of the entire Party, army and people.
Hai Phong is one of three localities (Hai Phong - Thanh Hoa - Ca Mau) selected by the Central Propaganda Department to organize the Live TV Bridge Program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the regrouping to the North, which once again demonstrates the contribution of the city's army and people in a heroic historical period of the nation. With about 15,000 Southern students studying in nearly 20 schools, Hai Phong has become a "red seed nursery", a place where many generations of cadres and leaders have been trained to live, contribute and build a prosperous and happy Vietnam.
This is a special political art program, which will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 16, 2024 with the participation of senior leaders of the Party and State and about 2,000 - 3,000 historical witnesses, artists, actors and a large number of people from provinces and cities at each connection point.
At the Hai Phong city bridge, the program took place at the City Theater Square with 10 performances and the participation of Central artists and many artists and actors of the city such as: Pham Thu Ha, Pham Anh Duy, UPLUS group, choir, professional and non-professional artists, children....
The overall stage of Hai Phong bridge evokes memories of ships carrying the beliefs and aspirations of the Southern people, sending their affection to the Northern people and the protection of the Northern people, the spirit of national solidarity and the determination to unify the country...
