At GDU, there is a very interesting culture where all activities are aimed at comfort, safety, fun and connection for all students. The desire of the school leaders is to create and develop a growing GDUers Community, a place where students can freely express their passion, personality and creativity.

GDU students have green space to relax after class.

From curricular to extracurricular activities, students are always placed at the center, the school will make every effort to create the most friendly interactive environment.

On the main campus, the school has arranged many spaces for relaxation, group activities, self-study, sports and arts practice. Each space creates a sense of closeness and friendliness. Food-court, convenience store, resting corner, modern football field, library... each location has its own arrangement but all ensure the criteria of green - clean - beautiful and friendly so that every student enjoys the experience.

Listening to students is also evident in the process of constantly innovating the training program, linking theory with practice right at the enterprise. In order for students to accumulate necessary knowledge and experience right from the time they are still in the classroom, from the first semester, GDU has implemented a program of learning and studying at the enterprise.

Not only do they come for a quick visit and then leave, GDU students get to learn about the business's operating processes and hear about areas related to the industry/major they are studying. Here, students can freely ask questions and receive detailed answers from business representatives. Taking advantage of the close relationship with more than 200 businesses, GDU creates a large number of job and internship positions that closely match the needs of students in each course.

GDU focuses on and promotes business cooperation and signing activities.

In order to increase the opportunity for students to gain practical experience, in addition to the hours of study at the enterprise, the school also regularly organizes seminars and exchanges with the participation of representatives of many enterprises and experts. Students are shared about how to study effectively, what they need to be equipped with to be highly appreciated by employers, what is the direction in the new era or simply how to write a perfect CV...

Knowledge and experience are shared specifically, closely following each question, helping GDU students visualize what they need to do while still in school to truly shine in the workplace in the near future. Thanks to such “real people, real work” programs, many GDU students have become more confident, bold and have a clearer and more effective study and training plan.

Looking back over the past 16 years, we can clearly see the transformation of GDU, from the scale of training, output quality to the professional team and facilities. When arriving at the school’s new campus in Go Vap district, most students were surprised and excited.

Most parents do not believe that with only 2.2 to 2.8 million VND/month, their children can study and live in a modern environment with full amenities like this. The information that the school commits to introducing accommodation in luxury apartments right on campus for 100% of new students this school year has attracted many people's attention. Accordingly, 1,000 affordable accommodations will be reserved by GDU to serve students in need with rental prices 30-35% cheaper than market prices.

Spacious facilities serve the learning and entertainment needs of GDU students.

GDU’s “specialty” is the diversity of clubs from academic to artistic and community such as: Programming Club, Robot Club, Asian Colors Club, English Club, Soccer Club, Basketball Club, Esports Club, Martial Arts Club, Chess Club, Volunteer Club, Travel Club… and many other interesting activities to help students develop themselves according to their interests and strengths. From these useful playgrounds, many outstanding individuals have been discovered, nurtured and truly shined in large-scale competitions.

Possessing strengths in facilities and its own training programs, but with an educational philosophy oriented towards a “mass” university model, GDU always puts the interests of students first. This is clearly demonstrated through a transparent, economical tuition policy and many supports for necessary cases.

GDU currently has 45 majors and majors with two training programs: general and talent. For many years, GDU has maintained tuition fees of about 10-14 million/semester (general program), 25 million/semester (talent program), contributing to reducing financial pressure for many families with children entering university.

In particular, when paying the full tuition fee for 3 years (8 semesters) for majors with tuition fees of 12.5 million VND/semester, new students will receive a 20% discount (equivalent to 20 million VND), paying only 80 million VND. When paying tuition for 1 year, the tuition fee will be reduced by 10%. Students with difficulties and students with high achievements in many fields will also receive valuable scholarships from the school, helping to reduce economic pressure on their families.

In addition, students are also supported with 0% interest loans from banks to pay tuition fees. In 2023 alone, with the support of large corporations and companies, the GDU Scholarship Fund has 9 billion VND to support and upgrade facilities for the student community./.
