At 9am, more and more parents come to school (Photo: Hoang Hong).
As of 9am today (August 21), the number of parents present at Tay Mo 3 Primary School reached nearly 400 people. Parents were upset because the children of residents in this area had waited for nearly 3 summer months with the hope of studying at Tay Mo 3 Primary School - the school right in front of their house.
However, yesterday, when meeting with the school principal, the answer they had was that there were no plans to accept applications.
A parent who asked to remain anonymous told Dan Tri reporter: "We have gone back and forth dozens of times, asking from one place to another, to see when the school will enroll students.
The old school told us to go to the new school on August 21 to submit our application and get the acceptance letter. But now we can't call the principal of the old school anymore.
We met the new principal of the school, she said she had just started the job and had no authority to decide on admissions. When we asked her when to submit applications, she beat around the bush and refused to accept applications.

"The new school year is 2 weeks away, and the application deadline is not yet announced. No one knows how the school will allocate students. Our house is opposite the school, and the furthest person lives less than 1km from the school. No one has any information about whether their children will be transferred here to study.
Why is it that the newly built school is located right in our residential area, but we have to travel 4-5 kilometers, through a road full of container trucks, dusty, with many potholes to go to school?", Mr. T.D.Q was upset.

Faced with hundreds of parents present in front of the school gate, Vice Chairman of Tay Mo Ward People's Committee Nguyen Dang Cuong was present to restore order.
Mr. Cuong wanted parents to gather in the community house area to discuss, but parents said they wanted to gather in the school to meet the school board.
At around 9:05, school security opened the gate for parents to move inside, avoiding traffic jams and crowds gathering in front of the gate.
Parents are now present in the school yard, lining up according to their children's grades and submitting their applications to the parent group representative.
The principal of Tay Mo 3 Primary School has not yet been present at the school to meet with parents.
