ANTD.VN - The General Department of Customs has stopped carrying out customs procedures for imported and exported gasoline and raw materials of Hai Ha Waterway Transport Company Limited and Xuyen Viet Oil Trading, Transport and Tourism Company Limited.
The General Department of Customs has just sent a document to the customs departments of provinces and cities announcing the suspension of customs procedures for imported and exported gasoline and raw materials of Hai Ha Waterway Transport Company Limited and Xuyen Viet Oil Trading, Transport and Tourism Company Limited.
According to the General Department of Customs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a Decision to revoke the Certificate of eligibility to act as a petroleum wholesaler of Hai Ha Waterway Transport Company Limited and the Decision to revoke the Petroleum Export and Import Business License of Xuyen Viet Oil Transport and Tourism Trading Company Limited.
Based on current regulations, these two companies are not qualified to carry out procedures for exporting, importing, temporarily importing for re-export, transiting, and processing for export of petroleum and raw materials for blending petroleum.

Hai Ha Petro, headquartered in Thai Binh, had its license revoked by the Ministry of Industry and Trade following an inspection by the Government Inspectorate. The company was also involved in a series of violations related to environmental protection tax debt and abuse of the petroleum stabilization fund.
According to the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate on January 4, Hai Ha Petro misused the price stabilization fund, not transferring it to the fund account but leaving it in the company's payment account.
This enterprise also under-declared and owed thousands of billions of dong in environmental protection tax.
The petroleum giant Xuyen Viet Oil, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, also had its license revoked by the Ministry of Industry and Trade from August 2023. At the same time, a series of leaders of this enterprise were prosecuted for tax evasion.
This enterprise held a market share of about 40% in Ho Chi Minh City and some South Central provinces before its license was revoked.
According to the conclusion of the Government Inspectorate, Xuyen Viet Oil had negative equity of 462.1 billion VND; owed environmental protection tax of 1,246 billion VND; owed the Price Stabilization Fund of 212 billion VND, the Company initially owed 1,920 billion VND.
Regarding the tax debt situation of Xuyen Viet Oil, a series of officials and leaders, former leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department have been prosecuted by the police.
