On the afternoon of February 26, Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee chaired the February meeting of the Provincial People's Committee (3rd time) to review and resolve a number of contents and reports reported by the Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Planning and Investment; Finance; Transport; Justice; Provincial Military Command and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.
Concluding the content on organizing activities towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, Mr. Luu Van Ban, Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to continue to coordinate with localities and related units to review cases to ensure conditions for receiving support, ensure policies, and absolutely not let any omissions. The contents and tasks must be assigned to specific responsible focal points and implemented on schedule.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested agencies and units to study and develop appropriate gift-giving plans, considering the scope and circumstances of gift-giving because in 2025 the province will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh campaign to unify the country.
Towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Military Command of Hai Duong province proposed to organize 5 groups of activities. Propaganda, education, emulation and reward activities include extensive propaganda and education on the historical significance of Dien Bien Phu Victory; launching and organizing special emulation movements; rewarding 34 collectives and 36 individuals with achievements in the emulation movement; organizing visual propaganda, screening documentaries, etc. Cultural and artistic activities focus on building and producing art, physical education and sports programs.
Discussions, exchanges, traditional talks, and battle stories between cadres, soldiers, students, and veterans and frontline workers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Policy activities, mass mobilization, and gratitude, including support for building and repairing houses for those who directly participated in the campaign and are in difficult circumstances; organizing visits, giving gifts, and offering incense... Continuing to propagate and resolve policies and regimes for those who participated in the resistance war against the French; coordinating the construction of 100 "great solidarity" houses for poor households in Dien Bien province...
