According to the report of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ha Tinh province, the province has effectively implemented vocational training and job creation in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2021-2025.
Specifically, implementing vocational training programs and projects under the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, and the National Target Program on Ethnic Minority Development. Implementing vocational training for demobilized soldiers and police who have completed their service, receiving applications from 172 students; vocational training institutions in the province have actively implemented enrollment, training, receiving applications and training for students.
Ha Tinh also strengthens the management of vocational education, guides and urges enrollment in 2024. Directs vocational education institutions to review, adjust and supplement the planning of the network of vocational education institutions according to the planning of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021 - 2030 with a vision to 2050 according to Decision No. 1363/QD-TTg dated November 8, 2022 of the Prime Minister. Implement the collection of tuition fees and training in new occupations; promote the professional titles of civil servants specializing in vocational education.
Instruct the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to strengthen inspection and examination of vocational training activities and granting of certificates under 3 months at beauty and cosmetic establishments.
Directing vocational training institutions to exploit free self-study courses on digital transformation in vocational education; 16/21 vocational training institutions have developed plans to implement the Digital Transformation program in vocational education by 2025, with a vision to 2030; 85% of teachers and managers have developed digital capacity, 71% of vocational education management content is digitalized.
In addition, Ha Tinh has implemented vocational training policies for subjects under national target programs, Decision No. 46/2015/QD-TTg, Resolution 70/2022/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council, under 3 months in Ha Tinh submitted to the Provincial People's Committee. Granted a certificate of registration for additional vocational education activities for Ha Tinh Vocational College.
Training cooperation between enterprises/production establishments and vocational training institutions in the area has had positive changes.
Many vocational training institutions have cooperated in training with large corporations such as: Ha Tinh College of Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Vingroup Corporation on vocational training in Automotive Technology; Viet Duc Ha Tinh Technical College, Ha Tinh Vocational College, Ha Tinh Industrial College signed a cooperation agreement on training with Formosa Ha Tinh Iron and Steel Corporation, Lilama Group, Hoa Phat, training human resources in Electricity and Mechanics; Ly Tu Trong Vocational College signed a cooperation agreement on training with Formosa Ha Tinh Iron and Steel Corporation, Landmark - partner of Vingroup Corporation, Seoil University, Korea.
In 2024, Ha Tinh successfully organized the 8th Ha Tinh Province Vocational Education Teachers' Teaching Conference with the participation of 34 teachers from 10 vocational education institutions with 34 lectures in 14 groups of industries and occupations; selected 6 outstanding teachers to attend the 2024 National Vocational Education Teachers' Teaching Conference in Quang Ninh province, of the 6 participating teachers, 5 won prizes at the National Teaching Conference: 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 3 Encouragement Prizes.
Organize a conference to train political and ideological work for managers and vocational education teachers at vocational education institutions in the province; foster professional expertise and skills for teachers and managers of vocational education according to the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024.
Strengthen inspection and handling of violations of the law on vocational education, review the activities of vocational education institutions. Advise and submit to the Provincial People's Committee to dissolve the Viet Nhat Vocational College; Announce the cessation of vocational education activities at Achen Vietnam Vocational Guidance and Training Company Limited; revoke the Certificate of registration for vocational education activities granted to MQA Science and Technology Development Company Limited; widely announce the ineligibility of Ha Tinh Economic - Technical College to operate vocational education during the time of completing dissolution procedures.
In 2024, 16,831 new students were enrolled at vocational training institutions in the province (78.3% of the 2024 plan); 13,877 people graduated (65.2% of the 2024 plan).
