Accordingly, the Ha Tinh education sector has launched the emulation movement "Digital popular education" associated with campaigns and emulation movements for good teaching and good learning throughout the sector.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong, "Digital literacy" is thinking in a digital context. Those who have not yet accessed it have the opportunity to access it; those who update a lot of instructions, share, those who update less. Regardless of age, gender, age, everyone has the opportunity to access the digital environment, update themselves and improve their digital capacity in studying, working and living.
According to Mr. Cuong, Ha Tinh currently has over 370,000 students and more than 21,000 teachers, so the education sector plays an important role in implementing "Digital Education for All". The Ha Tinh Education and Training sector also identifies the application of information technology and digital transformation as one of the important tasks, contributing to improving the quality and enhancing the effectiveness of educational management.
Specifically, the Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to pay attention to selecting and incorporating digital transformation content into the curriculum and extracurricular activities at all levels and grades.

Digital transformation improves teaching and learning quality
Nguyen Cam Ly is a student in class 12A6 at Cam Binh High School, Ha Tinh. She is quite hesitant about choosing a school to study after graduating from high school. Therefore, in addition to asking her seniors, Cam Ly often uses her phone to visit the school's website to search for information.
Cam Ly said that in this era, studying, working, communicating and entertaining activities are all taking place on digital platforms. Therefore, schools applying digital transformation in teaching is very practical, bringing great benefits to students.
"I think digital transformation is not something far away but something that is closely related to daily life. That is when I use my phone to provide information, look up information, study online, use online software, and use artificial intelligence (AI) tools; when teachers teach through online software, when taking tests on digital platforms; when farmers apply technology to manage crops, and businesses apply AI to production and business," Cam Ly shared.
Mr. Pham Viet Lap, Secretary of the Youth Union of Cam Binh High School, said that under the guidance of the provincial education sector, in recent years, Cam Binh High School has made many efforts in applying digital technology to teaching.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has received technology transfer, promoted digital transformation, and provided training on active teaching models and developed E-learning lessons for teachers.
This school year, the school held conferences on technology reception, transfer, digital transformation, and training on AI applications to support teaching and learning activities. Thanks to that, the quality of teaching and assessment has been improved, and students have more opportunities to access new knowledge.
However, according to Mr. Lap, for "Digital Literacy" to truly become a widespread and effective movement, each person needs to clearly define their responsibilities in the digital age.
"Teachers are the core force in the digital transformation of education, so they do not just stop at using technology, proactively raising awareness, and being creative in teaching methods, but are also pioneers, proactively bringing their knowledge to guide those who do not know about digital transformation, educating students in digital citizenship skills," added Mr. Lap.
Important meaning
Mr. Duong Tat Thang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, said that the launch of "Digital Education for All" by the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh is very welcome and has important significance in the current context of digital transformation.
The implementation of this program is a breakthrough and urgent solution with the aim of providing knowledge in digital activities in the form of "Popular Education" in a short time.
From there, the program contributes to raising awareness for each cadre, teacher, and student about digital transformation activities; helping schools access, use, and apply digital technology in teaching and learning activities.
In addition, schools also play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting people to access the digital environment in today's social life.
