With many outstanding results in 2023, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism.

On the afternoon of January 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh held a conference to review cultural, sports and tourism work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Attending the conference were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of State Agencies and Enterprises Dang Ngoc Son, representatives of leaders of a number of provincial and local departments, branches and sectors.

In 2023, under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, closely following the guidance and motto "Decisive action - Aspiration to contribute" of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ha Tinh continued to have positive changes and achieved many outstanding results.

The work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage has achieved many results, typically: The great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac was honored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); the bell of Chua Roi was recognized as a National Treasure; the Ha Ton Tuyen Temple relic was ranked at the national level by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 11 more relics were ranked at the provincial level...

The work of building a cultural life at the grassroots level has received attention and focus. The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has been widely deployed, creating positive changes in life. Up to now, the whole province has 354,732/377,691 cultural families (reaching a rate of 93.9%); 1,905/1,937 cultural villages and residential groups (rate of 98.3%).

The physical training movement associated with the Campaign for the whole people to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho took place vigorously, attracting many participants. High-performance sports achieved many new results, participating in 46 national and international tournaments, winning 216 medals of all kinds. The U13 and U17 football teams won silver medals at the National U13 and U17 Football Championship.

Tourism has many positive changes. In 2023, the whole province welcomed 3,361,000 visitors (an increase of 110% over the same period in 2022, an increase of 34% compared to the 2023 plan).

Meritorious Artist Nguyen Thi Cam - Director of Ha Tinh Traditional Art Theater presented a paper on "Solutions to improve the quality of art program development in the new era".

At the conference, delegates shared many experiences in the process of performing tasks and proposed solutions to overcome difficulties and effectively implement the plan and goals for 2024.

Continuing to promote the achievements, in 2024, the Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will closely follow and synchronously implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, the Conclusion of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference in 2021, the Conclusion of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary at the Provincial Cultural Conference in 2022 and the province's directive documents to advise "correctly" and "accurately" on tasks in a timely manner.
