On December 7, Vinh Phuc Provincial Youth Union (host unit) held a conference to exchange information on Youth Union work and youth and children's movements in the Northern Midlands cluster in 2023.
Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Standing Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union; Bui Huy Vinh, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

In 2023, the Youth Union and youth and children's movements in the provinces in the Northern Midlands cluster achieved comprehensive and solid results in all fields; promoted the pioneering, proactive and creative role in implementing new policies and difficult tasks assigned by the Central Youth Union and Party committees and authorities.
Many targets in the annual work program have been completed and exceeded the plan. Implementing the theme of "Year of digital transformation of Youth Union activities", the Provincial Youth Unions in the cluster have paid attention to and focused on innovating educational content and methods, focusing on the grassroots level, enhancing the application of information technology, and digitally transforming the movements and activities of the Youth Union. Volunteer campaigns have been deployed synchronously, with focus and key points, strongly applying digital transformation, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate.

However, the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement in the cluster still has some difficulties and limitations such as the political and ideological education work of the grassroots Youth Union organization is not implemented evenly among units; the implementation of new policies deployed by the Central Youth Union (3-link policy, 1+2 policy) has not ensured the progress and plan set out, the quality is not high; some branch targets in the annual work program have not been completed; the arrangement of over-age Youth Union cadres still faces many difficulties... Delegates attending the conference contributed many ideas and solutions to improve the quality of the Youth Union work and the youth and children's movement in the cluster in the following years.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Bui Huy Vinh congratulated the provinces in the Northern Midlands cluster for performing well in the work of the Youth Union and youth and children's movements in 2023, emphasizing that this is an opportunity for units to exchange and share experiences in organizing Youth Union activities and youth and children's movements.
He believes that, with the spirit of solidarity, unity, high responsibility, the attention and direction of the Central Youth Union Secretariat, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the Northern Midlands cluster will continue to promote the achieved results, continue to innovate, be creative, and perform well the key tasks in 2024, contributing to the effective implementation of socio-economic development programs, joining hands to maintain political stability, national defense and security.
