DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 86.9 million VND/tael for buying and 88.9 million VND/tael for selling, unchanged in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 86.5-87.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling. Compared to yesterday, the gold price decreased by 200,000 VND/tael for buying and remained unchanged for selling.
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau and Bao Tin Manh Hai Co., Ltd. was traded by businesses at 86.9-88.9 million VND/tael (buying - selling), unchanged in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday.

Spot gold fell 0.6% to $2,755.79 an ounce at 10:04 a.m. (Vietnam time), slightly below its record high on January 24. US gold futures also fell 0.6% to $2,761.2 an ounce.
IG market strategist Yeap Jun Rong predicts that gold prices will remain in an uptrend, as uncertainties surrounding trade measures are likely to dominate market sentiment.
Investors are also keeping an eye on the Fed’s meeting on January 28-29 and how it will respond to Trump’s moves. Gold is seen as a safe haven in times of geopolitical uncertainty and inflation, and typically benefits from low interest rates.
The Fed cut rates in September, November and December 2024, but at its most recent meeting it signaled fewer rate cuts in 2025. Other major central banks have also signaled caution about their 2025 plans.
“Gold is likely to remain supported into 2025 as rising geopolitical risks, trade tensions and central bank buying offset headwinds from a strong US dollar and the Fed’s slow pace of monetary policy easing,” said Aneeka Gupta, director of macroeconomic research at WisdomTree.
