Through the selection rounds of the Preliminary Council, the Final Council, the National Book Award Council decided to award the 7th National Book Award in 2024 to 58 books and books that won 59 Awards including: 3 A Awards; 10 B Awards; 21 C Awards; 21 Encouragement Awards and 4 Readers' Favorite Book Awards (1 book won 2 Award categories).

Speaking at the award ceremony, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said that the National Book Awards over the past 6 seasons have made great impressions, becoming an important event in cultural life, attracting the attention of not only authors and publishers, but also the public and readers nationwide. The 7th National Book Awards, especially today's Closing and Award Ceremony, continued to be carried out with many innovations and creativity, with the ultimate goal of expressing love for books, respect, honor and gratitude to authors, translators and outstanding works.

In order to further elevate the National Book Award - the country's most prestigious and prestigious book award, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Publishing Association and relevant agencies to pay attention to implementing a number of key contents.
