The 3rd Economic & Urban Newspaper Golf Tournament 2024 was organized by the Economic & Urban Newspaper in collaboration with Long Bien Investment Joint Stock Company at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course (No. 6, Tan Son, Ward 12, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City) with 144 golfers participating. Golfers competed in 4 groups A, B, C and the Women's group in the 18-hole individual stroke play format. Male golfers were divided into 3 groups including group A (HDC 0 - 18); group B (HDC 19 - 28); group C (HDC >28); and the Women's group HDC 0 - 36.
In the final results, in group A, first prize went to golfer Nguyen Viet Vu, second prize went to Do Trong Tan, and third prize went to Le Hai Dong.
In group B, first prize went to golfer Le Thanh Phong, second prize went to Mai Tien Phat and third prize went to Tran Quang Truong.
In group C, first prize went to golfer Nguyen Anh Phuong, second prize went to golfer Pham Tien Dung and third prize went to Le Vinh Nguyen.
In the Women's category, first prize went to beauty Tran Thi Nguyet, and second prize went to Trieu Bien Thuy.
In particular, the 4 technical awards respectively belonged to golfers Le Van Ly; Nguyen Ngoc Nhien; Huynh Do Huy Tuan; Nguyen Tuan Anh.
After the competition, all golfers had the opportunity to sit together to enjoy the Gala Dinner to award prizes combined with words of gratitude from the Organizing Committee. The party not only had the meaning of exchanging and connecting potential cooperative relationships. But also created beautiful impressions and memories in the hearts of each participating unit.
Speaking at the Gala Dinner, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi - Editor-in-Chief of Economic and Urban Newspaper said that the 3rd Economic and Urban Newspaper Golf Tournament in 2024 is an event within the framework of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Capital, October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024.
