Gasoline and oil prices increased from 3pm today, after adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance.
The price of RON 95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) increased by VND750, to VND20,510 per liter. Meanwhile, E5 RON 92 is at VND19,620 per liter, an increase of VND680.
Oil products have new prices of 15,350-17,870 VND per liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel increased by 460 VND to 17,500 VND. Kerosene is 320 VND more expensive, and fuel oil is 530 VND more expensive per kilogram.

Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 19 times and decreased 19 times. Oil prices have increased 16 times and decreased 22 times. The Joint Ministry has not yet allocated or established a Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, similar to previous management periods.
The operator said that fuel prices last week were affected by factors such as escalating conflicts in the Middle East, China's economic stimulus measures, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. These factors led to fluctuations in gasoline prices, increasing or decreasing depending on the item.
On average, in 7 days, finished gasoline increased by about 5%, oil increased by 2.3-4.6%. Accordingly, each barrel of RON 95 gasoline increased to 85.6 USD, diesel oil was at 84.4 USD, and fuel oil was 446.3 USD per ton.
