Gasoline prices may increase further in tomorrow's management period - Lang Son Newspaper

Specifically, representatives of many businesses forecast that the price of RON95 gasoline will increase by about 250 VND/liter; E5 gasoline will increase by about 240 VND/liter; and diesel oil will increase by about 270 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI)'s Machine Learning-based gasoline price forecasting model shows that in the operating period tomorrow, March 27, gasoline, kerosene, and diesel prices may increase by 1.1 - 2.1% if the management agency does not set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund.

VPI forecasts that the retail price of E5 RON92 gasoline will increase by VND236 (1.2%) to VND19,926/liter, and RON95 gasoline may increase by VND231 (1.1%) to VND20,311/liter. Diesel prices may increase by 1.5% to VND18,158/liter, while kerosene may increase by 2.1% to VND18,490/liter. Conversely, fuel oil may decrease by 1% to VND16,782/kg.

Current gasoline prices are being applied according to the price in the operating period on March 20. Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 414 VND/liter, not higher than 19,695 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 438 VND/liter, not higher than 20,087 VND/liter.

Prices of petroleum products fluctuated in different directions. Of which, diesel oil decreased by 5 VND/liter, not higher than 17,893 VND/liter. Fuel oil price also decreased by 40 VND/kg, not higher than 16,955 VND/kg. Kerosene price increased by 28 VND/liter, not higher than 18,118 VND/liter.

Thus, from the beginning of 2025 to now, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 12 adjustment sessions, including 5 decrease sessions, 4 increase sessions and 3 opposite sessions.
