Forged signature of medical center director to request funding of 624 million VND for contractor

Thu Duc Medical Center (HCMC) has just discovered a fake document with the director's signature to approve a budget of 624 million VND for the contractor.

On March 27, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Dr. Nguyen Van Chuc - director of Thu Duc Medical Center - said that he had discovered a fake document with a forged signature quoting a request for approval of funding for the contractor.

This document has the seal and signature of the director of Thu Duc City Medical Center, along with a list of 130 double-decker iron beds with a price of 624 million VND.

However, Thu Duc Medical Center confirmed that this is a fake document, completely untrue. The unit did not issue this document and did not conduct any transactions related to the above content.

Dr. Chuc also added that this is the first case where the unit has discovered a fake document approving the funding of contractors. The unit has also discovered fake health certificates, prescriptions, etc.

Previously, a hospital in the area also discovered a similar fake document, with the signature of the deputy director, with a list of aluminum and glass doors with a cost of about 700 million VND.

In early March 2025, the Department of Health also discovered websites and social networking sites posting advertisements for services such as obtaining operating licenses, medical practice licenses, etc.

These are the TikTok social networking site with the account "dichvuyduoctphcm", the website and Facebook page "dichvuyduoc.net". The above pages are not owned by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.

The Department of Health has forwarded this information to Ho Chi Minh City Police for investigation.
