Domestic coffee prices updated at 4:30 a.m. today, December 17, 2024 |
Through the trading session on the first day of the new week, we can see that world coffee prices have simultaneously turned around and increased steadily on all exchanges, which shows that world coffee prices are still continuing to develop in a complicated and unpredictable manner.
World coffee prices rose despite an independent research firm reporting that Brazil's total 25/26 crop output is likely to reach around 68 million to 70 million bags.
The report expects 43 million bags of Arabica coffee to be harvested and around 26 million bags of Robusta Conilon. The forecaster notes that Brazil has had more favorable weather since last November. One can see that this latest forecast is a bit more optimistic than others.
It should also be mentioned that recently, the General Department of Vietnam Customs reported that Vietnam's coffee exports in November decreased by 47% compared to the same period last year to 63,019 tons and coffee exports from January 2024 to November 2024 decreased by 14% compared to the same period last year to 1.22 million tons.
