Meeting with businesses, entrepreneurs and investors in the province on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

In his opening speech, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do emphasized: The conference is an opportunity to recognize, commend and honor entrepreneurs, enterprises, investors, and individuals in production and business in performing the tasks of socio-economic development and social security activities in the province in recent times. Dien Bien province is always committed to "accompanying - sticking together - sharing" with the business community with the motto "Taking enterprises as the center, aiming at enterprises", creating the most favorable conditions within the framework of legal regulations for enterprises to develop sustainably.

At the Conference, leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment informed businesses and entrepreneurs about the province's socio-economic development in the first 9 months of the year, the results of improving the business environment and enhancing competitiveness in the province.

Currently, the province has 2,122 registered enterprises with charter capital of VND 37,176 billion and 629 branches and representative offices. Representatives of enterprises and entrepreneurs shared the advantages and difficulties and proposed to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee solutions to support and remove difficulties for the business community and entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong acknowledged and commended the efforts and contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the province to the socio-economic development of Dien Bien province in recent times. The Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees and authorities at all levels; departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations of the province to focus on reviewing and amending unreasonable, overlapping and contradictory mechanisms, regulations and processes; continuing to remove "bottlenecks", reducing and simplifying administrative procedures, business conditions, investment licensing, etc. Resolutely remove unreasonable barriers; Determined, focused on improving component indicators, gradually increasing the ranking position, PCI score of the province, satisfaction index of administrative services (SIPAS), public administration efficiency index (PAPI), administrative reform index Par - Index... Strengthen dialogue, create favorable conditions, transparency, provide full information for investors, enterprises to research investment according to the direction of the province. Timely implement policies to support enterprises according to regulations of the Central Government, suitable to local conditions. For enterprises, investors, increase dissemination, promote the practice of 6 business ethics rules, promote the spirit of frankness and responsibility. At the same time, promptly reflect on difficulties and problems; individuals and organizations with signs and behaviors of harassment, slow performance of tasks, causing difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in the process of operation. Ensure projects are implemented on schedule and with quality, quickly deploy projects that have been researched, approved for investment, decided on for investment or granted investment certificates by the province, and thoroughly overcome the situation of slow progress.
