In particular, for rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,200 - 6,400 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuates at 6,500 - 6,700; OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800; OM 380 rice is at 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, there are few buyers and new transactions are slow. In Dong Thap, winter-spring rice transactions are slow, farmers offer to increase the price of rice for immediate harvest and before Tet but few buyers. In Can Tho, winter-spring rice transactions are slow, farmers offer to sell a lot of rice after Tet but traders buy little, mainly to check prices.

In Kien Giang, the supply of Autumn-Winter rice is still scarce, farmers are offering prices that have increased, and transactions are slow. In Bac Lieu, prices have increased slightly, but demand is still slow. In Soc Trang, rice prices have fluctuated little, and demand has not improved.

Similarly, with rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, raw rice OM 380 increased by 50 VND, fluctuating at 7,550 - 7,700 VND/kg; raw rice IR 504 also increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products and various by-products range from 5,700 to 7,200 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant rice bran has increased by 100 VND to 7,000 to 7,200 VND/kg; the price of dry bran ranges from 5,700 to 5,800 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the amount of arrival is low, buying and selling is slow. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the amount is low, prices of all types are stable, buying slowly. In Lap Vo - Vam Cong (Dong Thap), the amount is low, prices of all types increase slightly, warehouses are still buying slowly; fragrant rice is bought at a higher price than yesterday.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), the quantity is low, the warehouses buy slowly, the price of all types of rice bought by the warehouses has increased compared to yesterday due to the small quantity. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the rice is available slowly, mostly weak rice, little good rice, the price is relatively stable.

At retail markets, rice prices are the same as yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates between VND15,000 - 17,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates between VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates between VND21,500/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; common white rice 17,500/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates between VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,500/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 422 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 398 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 326 USD/ton.
