In addition to her role as Head of Ericsson Vietnam, Rita will also continue as Head of Telenor’s Global Customer Business, supporting Telenor Group in its transformation journey. She remains a member of Ericsson’s regional executive team for Southeast Asia, Oceania and India.
With over 14 years of experience at Ericsson in both regional and global senior leadership roles, Rita has demonstrated experience in general management, strategy, sales, business development, operations management and technology consulting.
She has successfully worked and coordinated with various stakeholders such as communications service providers, governments and businesses across continents from Europe, Asia, Africa to the Americas, each region having its own unique challenges and needs.
Her leading ability to lead complex digital transformation journeys, empower enterprise clients and create impressive growth milestones demonstrates her adaptability and strategic foresight.

Rita holds a PhD in Financial Engineering, a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering and a second Masters in Computer Modelling and Simulation. She also holds executive program certificates from globally renowned institutions such as Oxford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with specialisations in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Rita is also a member of Rise Tide Europe and Seeders, LWAF, a group of angel investors with a mission to foster innovation and strengthen the startup ecosystem.
Ericsson has been supporting service providers in Vietnam through commercial 5G pilots since 2020, leveraging its technology leadership to deliver world-class consumer experiences on 4G extended base stations – which can be seamlessly and efficiently upgraded to 5G capabilities as needed. Ericsson’s 5G portfolio can significantly reduce costs and power consumption per Gigabyte transmitted.
Ericsson currently operates and supports 155 live 5G networks in 66 countries worldwide. Ericsson’s 5G leadership has been recognized by major independent analyst reports: Gartner 5G Magic Quadrant 2023 (for the third consecutive year) and Frost Radar’s Global 5G Infrastructure report.
