This summer, when I finished my first year of university, I knew I had matured. The first opportunity that helped me overcome myself was becoming a class monitor in a new environment. I proactively communicated with the members of the class, enthusiastically volunteered to contribute to the movements. Thanks to that, I became more active and got to know many new friends. Studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport is very interesting. What makes me excited is that in addition to the main subjects, there are also workshops, talk shows... with many prestigious experts, so that students can improve their knowledge and equip themselves with soft skills. I was even happier when we students got to work on programs, not just listen to speakers share. Our major is logistics and supply chain management, and no one has experience in organizing events. Being assigned the role of group leader for the program with the theme "Opening the Heart", I was under a lot of pressure. However, the trust of my friends and the expectations of my teachers gave me strength. I asked myself: "If I don't try, how will I know my ability?" and determined to do it. I kept in mind the advice of my teachers: youth is about constantly learning, don't be afraid to stumble.

The stage of planning with the group, preparing facilities, and implementing communications for the program for me were meaningful extracurricular hours. The workshop went smoothly and was well-received by teachers and participants. We expanded our perspectives and methods for effective communication and teamwork, learned how to name and control our emotions. We were no longer impulsive children, but instead knew how to calmly and confidently express ourselves. The moment of completing the first "responsibility" of student life and successfully ending the workshop was truly memorable. I was inspired to try my hand at many fields in the following school years, to become more mature before entering the competitive labor market.
