(Dan Tri) - From March 4 to March 6, Vietnam Airlines cooperated with Saigon Tourist Group to participate in ITB Berlin 2025, the world's leading international tourism event.

The cooperation between two leading Vietnamese businesses in the aviation and travel sectors demonstrates their commitment to boosting national tourism growth, while promoting Vietnam as an attractive destination for high-spending international tourists, especially from key markets in Europe.

As the national airline, Vietnam Airlines and Saigontourist Group have proactively introduced the image of Vietnam, its people, as well as its unique aviation and tourism products. Through this, the two units aim to deploy product and service packages that suit the tastes of international tourists.

At ITB Berlin 2025, Vietnam Airlines had meetings and discussions with German partners about the Frankfurt and Munich routes, along with plans to develop the flight network in 2025, towards 2026 in markets such as Austria, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. This will not only help Vietnam Airlines reach more potential customers but also expand its business scope, enhancing its position in the international aviation market.

Visitors to the Vietnam Airlines and Saigontourist Group booths at ITB Berlin 2025 will also have the opportunity to enjoy typical Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, fried spring rolls, pho, fried cakes, etc., creating a unique culinary experience, contributing to honoring the culture and national identity.

Vietnam Airlines has participated in the ITB Berlin fair continuously since 2015, introducing new destinations in Vietnam and expanding its international customer base, especially German tourists. In the early years, Vietnam Airlines was the only Vietnamese enterprise to participate in the event. Currently, with the support of large domestic corporations and groups, the combined strength and resonance between enterprises have created new vitality and new motivation, contributing to raising the image of the country and people of Vietnam on the world tourism map.

This annual activity not only promotes socio-economic development but also spreads Vietnamese cultural values globally. At the same time, Vietnam Airlines continues to affirm the title of "World's Leading Cultural Airline", awarded by the World Travel Awards for many consecutive years.

2024 marks an important milestone for Vietnam Airlines with the launch of direct flights to Munich in October. Twenty years ago, Vietnam Airlines began operating the first route between Vietnam and Germany.

Opening direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Munich not only opens up new opportunities for tourism and trade, but also contributes to promoting comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Germany.

ITB Berlin, founded in 1966, has established itself as the leading platform for the global travel and tourism industry. With the theme "The world of travel lives here", ITB Berlin 2025 attracts around 100,000 visitors from 190 countries and 5,600 exhibitors, facilitating connections and cooperation between tourism businesses worldwide.
