Tourists excitedly go to Sun World to celebrate the victory of the Vietnamese team

Immediately after the emotional victory of the Vietnamese men's football team at the ASEAN Cup 2024, the national flag was bright red on every street and alley across the country. A series of Sun World destinations were also immersed in the red color of the Vietnamese flag and the jubilant atmosphere of celebrating the victory.
Fansipan Peak, where the red flag with yellow star is planted at the highest landmark of the three Indochinese countries, is a destination representing Vietnamese pride. On the morning of January 6, the flag-raising ceremony was solemnly held in the majestic space of the "roof of Indochina". Nearly 1,000 tourists were present early in the morning, holding red flags with yellow stars given by the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area to attend the ceremony.
The flag-raising ceremony on the legendary mountain top not only has a sacred meaning, but also contains pride and happiness when the Vietnamese team has proudly won the ASEAN Cup 2024 with the spirit of solidarity, dedication and especially fairplay.
Despite the cold weather, the spirit of Vietnamese tourists was still extremely excited, when they were able to admire the beauty of the country's nature and participate in the flag-raising ceremony at the highest flagpole of the Fatherland. After the solemn ceremony, everyone happily hugged each other, sharing emotional moments while watching yesterday's dramatic match, with immense pride.
In Ha Long city, Quang Ninh - the hometown of player Hai Long with the perfect final goal, hundreds of red flags are still flying from the Queen cable car to Koi Bridge on Sun Hill at Sun World Ha Long tourist area. "Hai Long put a sweet end to the match with Thailand last night. We hung these flags early in the morning with pride in having him, pride in the brave spirit of Vietnam", the park representative shared.
In Da Nang, the giant 125m high Sun Wheel at Da Nang Downtown Tourist Area on the night of January 5 lit up the image of the national flag and displayed the words "Vietnam is the champion", creating an emotional image in the sparkling scene of Da Nang at night and the sea of people going "storming" to celebrate the victory of the national team. Novotel Danang Premier Han River Hotel - "Vietnam's leading business hotel" awarded by World Travel Awards also ran LED lights displaying the colors of the Vietnamese flag with the words "Vietnam wins".
On top of Ba Na Hills, the atmosphere of victory celebration was also filled with excitement when the national flag was hung along the Golden Bridge - the iconic bridge of Da Nang tourism. From early morning, thousands of tourists took the cable car to Ba Na, excitedly checking in with the national flag fluttering on the beautiful bridge like a silk strip hanging over the clouds.
Many international tourists expressed their excitement at this spectacular scene and did not miss the opportunity to check in with the famous bridge covered with the red flag with yellow star. Mr. Lucas - a Russian tourist and his family joined the crowd at Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area early in the morning to celebrate the victory of the Vietnamese team. He said: “Vietnamese people celebrate the victory in a very special way. The bridge was dyed red with your flag, and I clearly felt the joyful atmosphere, your happiness and pride. I understood why the Vietnamese team played so fair. What a wonderful country”.
In the South of the country, the town of Hoang Hon (Phu Quoc) is also brilliant with flags and flowers. The entire screen at the tourist area, the 1,000m2 water screen at the show Kiss of the sea and the words projected on the Kissing Bridge in the show Symphony of the sea simultaneously changed to the message "Vietnam is the champion - Champions of AFF CUP 2024".
The image of the beautiful bridge like a silk strip stretching out to the sea with the words "Vietnam is the champion" has made a special impression on domestic and international tourists coming to Phu Quoc. Gavin - a British tourist shared: "I have heard a lot about Cau Hon, I was really overwhelmed when I came here. And I was even more overwhelmed when I witnessed the way you celebrated the victory and showed national pride, right on this bridge of love and connection".
At Ba Den Mountain - the highest mountain in the South, Tay Ninh people have a very special way to celebrate victory. Early in the morning of January 6, nearly 100 employees of Sun World Ba Den Mountain tourist area wore red flags with yellow stars and the words "Vietnam is the champion" at the cable car station square to Ba Den Mountain. All raised the national flag in their hands with national pride after a long time waiting for the sweet victory of the Vietnamese football team.
As a famous tourist destination in the South, Ba Den Mountain often holds large flag-raising ceremonies on occasions such as National Day September 2nd, April 30th, etc. The mountain, known as the "roof of the South", is also associated with the pride of the Vietnamese army and people in the resistance war against France, and witnessed a glorious history of the Vietnamese revolution.
With the image of red flags and shirts dyed all over the streets and famous tourist destinations, the victory of the Vietnamese team has revived national pride. These will be wonderful moments kept in the hearts of Vietnamese people.
