Healthcare and education infrastructure shape the future of Phu Ly urban area, Ha Nam

(Dan Tri) - After two major hospitals, Bach Mai and Viet Duc, opened their second campus, a series of universities have planned to invest in a second campus in Phu Ly, Ha Nam .

This is the result of a synchronous infrastructure development strategy to attract high-quality human resources, ensure social security, and develop the economy. In which, health, education, and housing are top priorities.

Attracting high quality medical and educational human resources

On March 25, a delegation from the National Economics University conducted a survey and worked in Ha Nam to study the construction of a training facility at Nam Cao University, Phu Ly City. Previously, Bach Mai Hospital and Hanoi University of Transport also proposed to develop a second facility here.

In order to meet the human resource needs for Bach Mai Hospital, Branch 2 - expected to have a scale of 1,000 beds, serving 20 million people from Ha Tinh area and beyond, Bach Mai University of Medicine and Pharmacy is building a multidisciplinary health university model with specialized training on a scale of about 28 hectares at Nam Cao University Area, attracting 5,000-7,000 students.

According to experts, Ha Nam is a prominent investment destination in the South of Hanoi. Not only is it one of the leading localities in developing industrial parks and attracting FDI in high-tech fields, the province's social infrastructure is also being strongly upgraded. Many high-quality medical and educational facilities have been and are being moved to Phu Ly thanks to easy traffic connections and synchronous planning.

Ha Nam leaders said that currently, in order to develop human resources, ensure social security with the goal of double-digit economic growth, in 2025, the province will continue to promote investment attraction, develop urban infrastructure, healthcare, education, and trade services.

According to the Education Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, one of the specific tasks outlined is to relocate higher education institutions in the inner city to the outskirts of the big city. The establishment of Nam Cao University Area affirms Ha Nam's strategic vision in welcoming the wave of large universities "landing". Nam Cao University Area has a total investment of more than 19,000 billion, expected to train 50,000-80,000 students.

With the increasing scale of human resources in the fields of industry, health, education, tourism and services, the province's urban and traffic infrastructure will soon be invested in synchronously and modernly.

Regarding urban infrastructure, at the end of March, when starting construction of the social housing project located in the Sun Urban City metropolitan area in Phu Ly City, Ha Nam, a representative of Sun Group affirmed that it would provide 12,000 high-quality social housing units with full urban amenities such as parks, squares, schools, hospitals, commercial areas, etc.

Sun Urban City - Sun Group's resort urban area, which is large in scale and has a thorough investment in living facilities, now directly connected to Nam Cao University - promises to form a university urban area with full facilities, contributing to making Phu Ly a new prosperous destination in the South of Hanoi.

Nam Cao University Area is expected to become a new "valley of knowledge", while the central hospitals, which are about to come into operation, all aim to develop in the direction of smart hospitals, becoming the leading medical centers in the region.

With the addition of new infrastructure projects, especially Ring Road 5 and intra-regional connecting routes, Ha Nam is gradually transforming from a "satellite" province to a hub for transit, trade, production and services in the entire Northern region.
