The Social Housing Project of the Sun Group's Innovation and Era Urban Area Project and the Nam Cao University Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project were started on March 20.

It is expected that the Sun Urban City metropolis will build many social housing buildings, with about 12,000 apartments on a total area of ​​20.5 hectares, a maximum construction density of 60%, and a maximum height of 9 floors. Of which, 20% of the floor area is reserved for commercial and service functions, meeting the essential needs of residents of the social housing area.

The first social housing building is 9 stories high, including 182 apartments and commercial and service areas. The social housing buildings are designed with a modern, airy exterior, optimizing natural light and living space. The apartments range in size from 25 m2 - 70 m2, optimizing functionality, ensuring convenience and comfort.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group Corporation, said that, following the direction of the Prime Minister, social housing is not built in remote areas but must have full infrastructure conditions (transportation, healthcare, education, sports, society, environment, etc.), commercial housing, social housing projects with the Sun Group brand will certainly be high-quality products, meeting the needs of green living and full amenities for officials, civil servants, public employees and people with low incomes; workers, laborers in industrial parks.

The groundbreaking of Sun Group’s first social housing building is a concrete step to realize Sun Group’s commitment to quickly and effectively deploy projects in Ha Nam. Not only focusing on developing large-scale, modern, and utility-rich urban areas, Sun Group is also willing to accompany the locality to bring opportunities to own high-quality housing for officials, civil servants, public employees, and low-income people; workers, and laborers in industrial parks.

Nam Cao University Area was approved by the Government in Decision No. 1748/QD-TTg dated September 27, 2013, located in Duy Tien town and Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province, with an area of ​​754 hectares, training scale of 50,000 students, 4,000 teachers and about 30,000 urban residents.

With the goal of meeting the demand for training technical human resources at university, college, and intermediate levels and the requirement to improve the quality of university education for the Red River Delta and the Hanoi Capital region during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country; contributing to adjusting the network of universities and colleges for the Hanoi Capital region, the Red River Delta region and relocating a number of universities and colleges from the inner city of Hanoi to planning areas, in accordance with the planning for building a system of universities and colleges in the Hanoi Capital region by 2025, with a vision to 2050.

The investment project to complete the construction according to the infrastructure planning of Nam Cao University Area, Ha Nam province has an investment scale: Complete construction according to the planning of 13.6 km of roads in Nam Cao University Area, including internal roads and connecting roads between Nam Cao University Area, Phu Ly city, key industrial parks of the province with Phu Thu Intersection and Ring Road 5. The project has a total investment of: 993 billion VND. Project implementation period is from 2024-2027.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province Truong Quoc Huy affirmed: With the view that transportation goes first to pave the way, Ha Nam is investing in key transportation projects in the direction of inter-regional connectivity. To connect with Hanoi, National Highway 1A and the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway are a solid foundation, along with new projects such as Ring Roads 3.5, 4, 5 and Phu Thu Intersection are also being accelerated, placing Nam Cao University Area, as well as Ha Nam province, in the central position of the Red River Delta region.

Along with that, social housing, urban housing and 1,001 utilities at the Urban Area Project of the Era and Innovation will meet all needs for housing, services, entertainment, shopping... serving the team of teachers, lecturers and education workers. At the same time, this is also an extremely favorable condition to attract students to study. From there, Nam Cao University Area will be formed and developed to become a center for training high-quality human resources in the Red River Delta region.

Mr. Truong Quoc Huy affirmed that the groundbreaking of these important projects demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Nam province in promoting investment attraction, developing infrastructure, trade, services and urban areas along with developing human resources, ensuring social security, and realizing the province's economic growth target of double digits by 2025.
