Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, worked with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.

On October 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City on cooperation between Ninh Thuan and India; exchanging, introducing, requesting support, inviting Indian tourists; opportunities and potentials to attract investment from India to the province; opportunities for cooperation and potentials to export Halal products of the province to the Indian market.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gave an overview of the province's socio-economic development situation; informed about the outstanding results in implementing cooperation agreements between Ninh Thuan and India in the past time; proposed a plan to implement cooperation agreements in the coming time, focusing on attracting tourism development, exporting special agricultural products such as: Lamb, green asparagus, aloe vera of the province and policies, calling for attracting Indian enterprises to invest in the province's industrial parks to develop industry, processing and manufacturing.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India, highly appreciated the achievements of the province; the potential, advantages of tourism development and the province's unique products. In order to deepen the cooperation agreement and tourism development between the two sides, in the coming time, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will support the province in communicating about Ninh Thuan tourism to Indian tourists and introduce Indian travel businesses to connect with the province; support training of tourism human resources for the province to contribute to meeting the service needs of Indian tourists. At the same time, propose to periodically exchange and share information with the province on the situation of cooperation and tourism development to promote strengths, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles between the two sides and pay attention to attracting and investing in organizing wedding tourism. In the field of investment attraction and trade promotion, the Indian Consulate is ready to support connecting Indian businesses to work with provincial departments, branches and enterprises through online or direct working methods to facilitate the process of cooperation agreements, understanding the investment environment and market development. On this occasion, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi respectfully invited the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments, branches and enterprises to visit and work with Indian localities and enterprises.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked and acknowledged Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi's invitation for Ninh Thuan to establish a delegation to visit India, and emphasized that immediately after this working session, the Provincial People's Committee will have a specific program and plan to effectively implement the contents of the cooperation agreement between the two sides. In the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to pay attention to and support the province to effectively implement the cooperation contents according to the plan agreed by the two sides; support the province's communication so that Indian enterprises and investors can understand Ninh Thuan, especially the province's potential, advantages, and investment calling projects to Indian enterprises; connect Indian enterprises and corporations to research, learn, invest stably and develop sustainably in Ninh Thuan.
