"Youthful Arts" Contest for High School Students in Dong Thap Province, School Year 2024 - 2025

DTO - On the evening of March 1, at the Provincial Labor Union Cultural House (Ward 1, Cao Lanh City), the Department of Education and Training held the Closing Ceremony and awarded prizes for the "Young Youth Arts" Contest for high school students in Dong Thap province for the 2024-2025 school year. Attending were representatives of the provincial departments, branches and sectors.

After 4 days of competition (from February 26 to March 1, 2025), 42 art teams from high schools, junior high schools - high schools, and Continuing Education Centers in the province with about 1,600 students participating performed 180 exciting art performances in the following genres: solo, duet, trio, dance, singing and dancing groups; talent types such as storytelling, cai luong skits, hip hop dance... The performances praised the Party, Uncle Ho, the tradition of fighting to build and defend the country of the Vietnamese people; images of the homeland, country and people of Dong Thap... According to the Organizing Committee of the competition, the teams invested in and staged art programs with rich and diverse content and forms; the performances closely followed the theme of the competition. In particular, many students sang well and performed confidently.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Ha - Director of the Department of Education and Training (right cover) awarded the First Prize to the Performing Arts Team of Sa Dec City High School.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee selected 15 best performances to perform. At the same time, the overall group awards were given: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 6 Encouragement Prizes for the competing teams; the performance awards were given: 6 First Prizes, 9 Second Prizes, 18 Third Prizes, 62 Encouragement Prizes for groups and individuals with outstanding solo, duet, trio, group and talent performances at the competition. The overall group award went to the Sa Dec City High School Art Team.
Through the contest, we aim to promote and educate students about love for their homeland and country, and create a playground for students to exchange and demonstrate their artistic talents.
