Up to now, travel businesses in the province have completed launching tour products to serve the year-end tourist season and the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday. In order to stimulate tourism, many units have focused on innovating and diversifying tours, bringing tourists many attractive options.
The upcoming Lunar New Year holiday will last 9 days, this is considered an opportunity for travel businesses to "freely" develop a variety of new tours, giving tourists more opportunities to access long routes. According to some travel businesses in the province such as: Vietravel - Thanh Hoa branch, Vietrantour - Thanh Hoa branch, GBest Vietnam - Thanh Hoa branch, Long Hai Travel, Lac Hong Travel, Trust Viet Travel, VNPlus Travel... the Tet tour market is bustling with a variety of new itineraries and destinations. In particular, the New Year tour has a 1-day program, mainly focusing on destinations within the province or connecting tours with neighboring provinces. With the Lunar New Year tours of At Ty 2025, each travel agency provides about 100 domestic tours and 50 international tours.
Director of Vietravel - Thanh Hoa branch, Tran Thi Nga said: “The 2025 Tet tour has many innovations, focusing on tour products for the Lunar New Year holiday. Currently, Vietravel has launched the New Year tour package "Welcome the New Year with a colorful adventure" and the Lunar New Year tour package "Spring travel flourishes - Peaceful fortune". We have provided the market with thousands of attractive tour routes, integrating unique experiences, suitable for customers' travel trends. The Tet tourism product package is not only trips, but also a journey to explore and preserve cultural and natural values - towards sustainable tourism, with more meaningful experiences".
It is known that this is the first time Vietravel has brought tourists "green" trips, with activities for the environment and the community during Tet. In Ninh Binh province, there will be a journey connecting tourists with activities such as: planting trees, experiencing the "Bringing animals home" program, learning about rescue work, preserving rare primates; exploring Van Long lagoon - a unique land known as "the bay without waves"... In Da Nang, there will be a "Net Zero" journey with activities to minimize environmental impacts and move towards a sustainable future. In Thanh Hoa, Vietravel will bring tourists trips associated with experiences, cultural festivals, customs and unique practices of ethnic minorities in the West of Thanh Hoa during Tet.

The peak tourist season for Tet 2025 with a long holiday, so destinations in the province are currently planning to organize traditional Tet experience activities, such as: making banh chung, games, folk performances, cultural festivals... In particular, at Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien (Hoang Hoa), FLC Sam Son (Sam Son City), Anh Phat Hotels & Resorts (Nghi Son Town), Yen Trung Tourist Village (Yen Dinh) will organize attractive music festivals, culinary exchanges, and gala dinners to welcome the new year.
Mr. Ta Hong Sang, General Manager of Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien, said: “The demand for Tet tourism this year is expected to increase sharply, especially among young families. Therefore, along with the activities taking place on the weekend, we will bring visitors new and exciting cultural experiences and Tet life. Currently, Flamingo Ibiza Hai Tien is actively preparing conditions and building a detailed plan for the New Year countdown festival, hoping to bring people and visitors different and colorful experiences.”
Representatives of some travel agencies in the province said that the long Lunar New Year holiday is a favorable condition for Thanh Hoa to promote the exploitation of the southern tourist market, however, the high airfares have caused difficulties for many businesses. Therefore, travel agencies have been actively coordinating with service providers at destinations in the province to stimulate tourism, ensuring the best tour prices. At the same time, they are committed to applying stable prices until mid-February 2025, contributing to bringing tourists meaningful spring trips when coming to Thanh Hoa.
