In the first quarter, Lac Thuy district focused on leadership, direction, and serious implementation of the work of reorganizing the apparatus and directing political tasks and achieved positive results. Party building work continued to be consolidated. The activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations were effective. The economy continued to be stable and had steps of development. Site clearance and investment attraction continued to be accelerated. Administrative reform was focused on; culture, health care, education continued to develop, social security was concerned. Political security, social order and safety were maintained. The district's economy continued to be stable. Attracting 1 investment project to the district, bringing the total number of projects in the district to 70. The estimated disbursement value reached 101.3 billion VND, reaching 24.27% of the capital plan. The state budget revenue in the district is estimated at 50,420 million VND, reaching 35.26% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, reaching 15.11% of the District Party Committee Resolution... However, the leadership and direction in handling and resolving petitions in some places and in some matters is not really drastic. The management of natural resources, minerals and land in some places is not strict. The leadership and direction in handling difficulties in compensation and site clearance for some projects is still slow.
Regarding the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Lac Thuy district, up to now, the whole district has 64 poor households in need of new construction and repair, whose list has been assessed as eligible for support; 49 houses have been completed; 14 houses are being built; 1 house has not yet started construction. The district has completed 100% of the targets assigned by the province and the district in 2024; is implementing the 2025 plan, striving to complete 15 newly built houses supported by the district's "For the Poor" Fund and the district Military Command by May 30, 2025 at the latest. The leaders of Lac Thuy district proposed to the province a number of issues such as: Pay attention to and provide guidance for 01 case of a household in Chi Ne town so that the district can ensure the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
Concluding the working session, comrade Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the results of leadership and direction of the political tasks of the district Party Committee. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee continue to pay attention to Party building work, focus on directing the serious implementation of the conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on restructuring the apparatus; promote the role of cadres, party members, and leaders in doing a good job of political and ideological work to create high consensus in implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus; at the same time, strengthen the direction of political tasks, ensuring that work is not interrupted, affecting businesses and people. Develop a draft Project on restructuring commune-level administrative units and submit it to competent authorities for approval.
For the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, it is necessary to review the subjects, implement it publicly and transparently, in accordance with regulations, and strive to complete the program as planned.
Speed up the disbursement of public investment capital for projects. Continue to do a good job in the work of liberation. Construction site of project works according to plan . Lac Thuy district closely coordinates with related units and investors to speed up progress, shorten appraisal time to soon complete investment preparation work, striving to start the project on April 25, 2025.
